Notice that even when set up the 270 awning doesn't provide any shade from that direction depending on time of day. This is a problem with most awnings including 270 ones. Often times you're better off with an awning and a wall kit.

Thanks for making this. Can you open the back while the awning is up? I want to get one of these, but I’m wondering how the interference is when the back hatch opens and the spoiler swings vertical.
Nice video, thank you. I am trying to decide between the Batwing and just the Yakima awning which does not wrap around the vehicle. Do you find yourself needing an awning this big? I will mostly be camping solo to find peace and recharge my batteries!
I don't really need one this big. I've thought about changing it out for one that just goes to the side, but when it rains, it's nice to have one going over the back because that's where my kitchen is.

As you saw, I replaced this with the OVS 180. I was able to open the hatch, but not all the way.
