The guy actually gave the parking attendant his car. Poor fellow, he has to be truly sensitive fellow, good heart'd. He didn't want not to do the right thing, in spite of his reservations. This was so warming and funny.

That yellow MK3 Cortina the lady was driving was nearly new when that was filmed 1974! & The wee green Imp that got bashed with the white Anglia was a very advanced car when it was launched in 1963! The unfortunate red MK2 Consul .that got bashed was an antique & was probably bought for buttons by LWT prop department.

I loved this so much and remember it when it was first aired. I also relate to it. I worked at Potters Bar Golf Club in various duties. A Jewish golf club where Tony Jacklin was the club professional before my time and my mother also worked there as a waitress in earlier years. Gone now because of PC. I was a local and although not Jewish they were beautiful and looked after me. (Billy). I relate to how serious they took their golf and could get irate if you didn't follow edicate. I pretty much knew the rules but I very rarely took personal offence. Lovely memories. And the magistrate fits in nicely. I was caddying in a foursome and the game in front was really slow on the green and they started to verbally make there thoughts known. I made them aware that one of them was a magistrate and settled with a barrage of vebal abuse and we were allowed to pass through. I knew the magistrate not through crime. He was a nice person. It was funny though. ❤

Im a golf coach, the first guys extension and follow thru is nice but he should stand closer to the ball and more erect and maybe a fuller turn, the 2nd guy is coming over the top and slices., I,d love to see the blue sweater guys swing, nice grip,high finish ,looked nice., Golf is a great game !
