@@brydon07 Yes. Not a group that he was In, but that he's still In. Those are 2 of his loyalist, best friends from 21st In Long Beach. When Snoop blew up with Dr. Dre "Tray dee" was In Prison & had no Idea how BIG & FAMOUS his lil homie had gotten while he was on lock being focused on the prison environment as you must to survive.
Tray Dee caught word from some of the homies on the outside eventually, & that's when he knew It was real. Tray Dee Is one of Snoops IG'z, Big Homie, & Goldie Is the proverbial "little homie" that earned big respect with the OG'z, then you add that he can rap his azz off & boom you have the birth of the "Eastsidaz"!!
Snoop wanted to put his homies from his hood on so they can eat basically without Snoop having to hand feed them all the time. SO It just made sense to do a group. As I said, knowing GOLDIE LOC could rap & being a solid, stand up well respected young gangster from 21st he was invited to be In the group & the rest Is history
