I've been living in Invercargill for the last 15 years. It's an okay town but the weather is shit. Job options down here are career limiting with little to no opportunities. But you're lucky enough to work for a bigger organisation the culture usually consists of the boys club so you're buggered either way. I have found Invercargill people to be a little unfriendly and negative while having old school beliefs. But there's lots of opportunities to get out of town with ease of access to other centres.
One of the best things to do in Invercargill is Shark Cage Diving in Bluff which is about 25 mins drive from the city. I tried it once and its amazing! Will you both do it too?
@@NZPocketGuide i wish i could know it in detail in the next video.similarly,i want to study Invercargill, want to know job opportunity for us during the study period
Cool, I will add your question to our list :) In the meantime, check out this guide of the region -> www.backpackerguide.nz/southland-guide-for-backpackers/
