The songs are also quite everywhere, with regards to mood and range. But a majority of them got that nice spacey yet soulful ethereal heaviness, a warm fuzzy gentleness... like sherbert coursing through your veins. Good for cooking, or just spacing out, to any chill leisure activity. Nearly forgot to mention: Viktor Duplaix - Make A Baby. And for that good ol Blue Eyed Soul can't go wrong with Jamie Cullum, Buble is aight too, Stacey Kent is a good jazzy listen. Bounces around genres, but always keep to those Soulful, Jazzy, Lounge Music / Bossa Nova sounds. Must, must, MUST listen Moonchild - Still Wonder. Perfect transition from this song by H.E.R.. Oh man, you could make love to that song. Amazing how Soul has transcended Race. But then again... it's good music. And music is universal. I just hope the original pioneers don't get overlooked though.

Meshell’s monologue at the end is the perfect essence of when you with or were with someone and you are out somewhere alone, but they got you…”sprung” in a sense and you know it is crazy…but you still want them to pick up the phone. Started listening to Neo Soul since 2000. Dabbling with almost all genres of music... I always keeps listening more to this genre, mostly "old songs". The reason I do this is perfectly encapsulated in this song. This genre is rife with transcendentally celestial... yet... primal elements. Like... space dust in a cool autumn breeze. Timeless stuff.

@@lolabint3411 You guys are welcome. To be quite honest wanted to name more, really did. But by the time I'd be finished... I'd probably be into old age, which isn't too far off. The songs are also quite everywhere, with regards to mood and range. But a majority of them got that nice spacey yet soulful ethereal heaviness, a warm fuzzy gentleness... like sherbert coursing through your veins. Good for cooking, or just spacing out, to any chill leisure activity. Nearly forgot to mention: Viktor Duplaix - Make A Baby. And for that good ol Blue Eyed Soul can't go wrong with Jamie Cullum, Buble is aight too, Stacey Kent is a good jazzy listen. Bounces around genres, but always keep to those Soulful, Jazzy, Lounge Music / Bossa Nova sounds. Must, must, MUST listen Moonchild - Still Wonder. Perfect transition from this song by H.E.R.. Oh man, you could make love to that song. Amazing how Soul has transcended Race. But then again... it's good music. And music is universal. I just hope the original pioneers don't get overlooked though.
