Nope, she just has 7 hearts so he would have killed her, but I love that, it can totally be a reference , also the fact that it was Scott who helped discover his powers, and Scott was the ice one in Empires S1, that’s great, unintentional but great.

I don't know Stacy I saw the name on the list of players but it's not a channel I've heard of but I'll definitely have to check it out could be a new person to watch
@@Werewolf914 Stacy's great! She doesn't do all that much anymore thanks to COPPA but her videos are really fun, and slower paced. She has a focus on animals, and she's also an author!

I am so excited finally a (hopefully) long series with all my favourite RUclipsrs (including Martyn!!!!) :)
Its not going to last long unfortunately because last season they had 10 lives and the longest POV had 12 episodes
@@cameronsharples2544I think it should last the same length,its clear lots of deaths in afterlife were more staged with some losing like 3 lived in one episode so idk
@@honkman29 I'm actually hopeful that it'll last awhile. Before they had ten lives they had to go through and experience, which becomes tedious and less engaging over time despite the change in abilities. That's probably why a lot of deaths were staged or less care was taken with staying safe for the sake of moving things along. Here though, not only do they have the create mod, but they've cut down the amount of lives. Meaning every life that's lived will count more and just be more memorable in general. Will there probably be some staged deaths for the people who are good at surviving, probably, but overall people will be more engaged and thus want to see how long they can survive with each origin.

@@honkman29 That's the reason I stopped watching AfterLife before it ended, tbh. I wanted to see them using their origins, not throwing them away for drama.

Gotta admit tho, the brief Jon Snow voice bit just gave me instant flashbacks to Third Life (like I know what Martyn was doing was mimicking Jon Snow, but I've never actually watched game of thrones so literally the only thing I actually associate the voice with is Martyn and Ren and the whole bit they were doing back in Third Life lol)

Loving the mods chosen for this smp. This could be a very creative series. I know you are not an expert builder but the create mod is a very visual mod and i think you of all people might love it.
Also i think your episode could be a little longer like 24-29 min, not too long but not too jam packed.

Most homes in the snow used darker color pallets to keep out the cold.
Blues, blacks, grays, whites, and browns are a good match for the snow, and also help you find your base.
Could easily do tunnels too under the mountain as some places would hallow out snow banks to impact them inside to keep in heat too.
as someone who hasn't watched martyn since his first christmas ADVENTure series (TEN YEARS AGO I FEEL SICKKK) seeing him in a wintery outfit made me so nostalgic LOL

Yeah, the creeper overhall mod has some interesting variety. I believe the bamboo creeper from the jungle and the terracotta creeper from the savannah are completely passive.
So stoked to see Martyn as a regular in a series where he can really flex his character muscles 💪 also I missed jon snow 🤣

Man first episode and Martyn already got abducted by snow aliens and was taken back to outer space.
For mountain builds I'm always partial to the towers, fortresses, and Castle builds.
I love the design of the warpstone building, how open it is to the elements. I think a similar style would work really well for a chillager base!

fun fact a few days later (not even a week and he already did so): He adopted/took all of the yeti creepers he could find and now is searching names for everyone (the first one being Collin) and will actually not allow anyone to harm them

Ice powers, Can't control powers, lives on a mountain, has yeti snow creature sidekicks Sooo..... Is he just Elsa?
Being basically an iceologer, he should declare war on the glow squids
Tip for the Create stones. They are all ,ostly decorative but if you use the Create Grinding Wheel mechanics to crush them up. They each turn into nuggets of a type of metal. The yield is low but better than nothing if you decide to not build with them.
The Yeti Creeper do be vibing. They're passive unless provoked, so don't touch or get headbutted off a mountain.
Build a yeti village around your house. Be fun.
An Ice castle? or an Ice Cube? Be a Bar tender and sell drinks?
As your base, you could build a spiky ice castle as your base. Or at least a few spikes. I think they show this icy theme rally well.
Or maybe an ice maze, with hidden passages and a lot of tunnels filled with these snowy little Colins that keep spawning around and in your base.
(Btw, i think these snowy mob-thingies might have a connection to the warden. They have almost the same horns, and they have similar movements, they are also like nodding when they are walking.)
Brilliant start to the series. It looks like there are different biom creepers. If the Collins are creepers, you may be immune to their effect.

I can either see a small Eskimo hut/igloo or a big Elsa ice castle for the base 😂

That's very cool and funny that you had infinite levitation for a bit there.
As for coloration on your build, it would be cool to see the quartz, azurite, calcite, blue, light blue, snow block, all ice types, maybe a bit of purple and cyan, maybe bamboo and birch.

Every time Martyn says "ah ha" all I can think of is the "ah ha" fest they guys had and dying laughing.
HEXAGONS! Hexagons are the shape water molecules naturally take when they crystalize (aka freeze), which is why snowflakes are 6-sided and such.
If you want a *really* good-looking hexagon shape, the answer actually isn't to make the diagonals 1x2, but actually a repeating pattern that's a lot closer to a real 60 degree angle. if you space the blocks *1-2-2-1-2-2-2-1-2-2-2* in a repeating pattern then it takes HUNDREDS of blocks to stray from a proper 60 degree angle, and any hexagons built in that pattern look evenly hexagonal from every angle.
