I just put in my flush water change and sat down to this video. I will chop Sunday or Monday. Green Crack and Gelato with colas similar in size and density to your blueberry og. I’m eager to see your results. Both of these ladies are full of trichomes as well. I thank you for your videos because I wouldn’t have colas like this without the shared knowledge. Thanks! I could go into a little more depth on drying... I dont wait till the branches snap... they never snap for me... if I wait till they snap the bud turns out way too dry, so 8ish days works for me... when the leaves are all completely crispy and the buds are all dry and hard.... I err on the side of still higher moisture in the buds and the grove bags do the rest... im doing a short video this week during drying that I'll talk about this stuff, will be out by the end of this week... 👊
@@thewell-roundednovice8852 ,ya I noticed that, this is pretty my first RDWC indoor, been doing outdoor for 6 years and whenever they say wait till it snaps it's way to dry, it seemed like you only get one try to make it snap and never does, when you throw them into the ben, do you cover it? Just normal room temperature?
@christopherreiten1977 I'm talking about all this on my next video thats coming out this week.... but yeah, I just put it in the big totes from home depot... I leave them in a cold room for the rest of their life, as close to 60° as I can keep it... when they're in the bins waiting to be trimmed, if they're dry enough I close the lid completely,,, if they're a little on the damp side I leave the lids cracked open slightly.... I rely on grove bags alot to finish off the dry and cure for me
I've never considered leaving my plants to dry as-is rather than hanging them. I'm curious now, that seems a lot easier than cutting the net and trying to cut out branches. They always flop everywhere. I may try this next round if you say it works pretty well. I wonder if it dries quicker because the plant is upright. Do you just cut the plant at the base and remove the buckets?
I cut them like I showed in the video... I used to take the netpots and roots out on chop day, but it was a huge pain in the ass, so I figured out I can just leave the rdwc system going with the roots in place and everything works fine... then I take the branches out one by one once they're dry and de-leaf them as I put them into tubs to wait for trimming.... super easy this way

I just looked around it and it's pretty spread out... I think I like it right-side up better sp the buds are a little spread out,, I'm worried about the mold getting inside more
You could promote ammber tricombs when they arent showing by cutting the light so they get less than 12/12 and also drop temps more mimicking winter is coming so they can finish up nicely. But those some fat buds the blueberry 🫐
Yeah... I took the temps as low as I could... didn't shorten the light period, but reduced the intensity quite a bit... and yeah, I'm curious what the blueberry og will look like after drying

I have sum I wanted to push to 9 weeks but 1/3 is already starting to yellow so might not make it to week 9 she finishing fast ⏩ that's all ways a good thing

800-900ppm is 1.7ec right? I dont think you really need to defoliate until day 21ish

You just do what you can(big pipes, block the roots, etc.)... still clog sometimes
