a finnish fish net I’ve had mine since midnight release and it’s still working. Joy Con do have issues, but I have a pro controller and GCN controller and USB adapter, so I don’t really use mine, minus in Mario Maker 2. The touch screen is a lot easier to use than a controller to build stages. So, no the switch doesn’t break in 5 minutes. And even the Joy Con aren’t a universal problem since mine don’t drift, although I’ve seen a survey that says about 30 percent of joy con does eventually drift. But so does damn near every controller.

You only need two things for gaming:
1) A PC
2) The latest Nintendo console
Exactly. There is no need for me to get an Xbone or PS4 when I can get the exact same games on PC, cheaper, and with better graphics (not that graphics totally matter. Then you top it off with the switch so you can get the games that only Nintendo is good enough to make.

Chrisroc1 PC's also have exclusives and believe it or not, yes you can get a PC equivalent or greater than a PS4 at that price. You can definitely get it equivalent but greater specs may be a bit difficult. The main thing that the PS4 has going for it is decent exclusives but if someone doesn't want those there isn't rly a point

It's just super irritating that they sold out to a bad product, a product that many of the people that made this should know is bad and still told us to go see it. Not to mention the trailer mistakes Honest for Everything Wrong with.

I'm just surprised after their reaction to the last movies, the movie must be really bad if they are shelling out so much for ad time.
look, it's a formula that should be working, Micheal Bay is(or at least was) an amazing director, and transformers is a great source material(at least for fanboys) so why can't we get at least one good movie, the movies aren't even losing money even though they are so bad simply because people still hope for a good one.

Not with Bayonetta 3, Smash 5, next-gen Pokemon, and the fact that the system seems able to handle something as advanced as the Unreal Engine 4.16 while maintaining its capacity to be MOBILE and feed off of android chargers.
We'll have to wait and see but remember, at its core, its still an NVIDIA TEGRA. The Switch is the NVIDIA Shield and NVIDIA plays for keeps.

Sonny Sonny Same here. Three to six hours seems like barely anything, but I haven't ran into any problems yet. I've taken my Switch on airplanes, car rides, etc. and it's always had plenty of battery life.
Plus when you consider that it can play home console games on the go and has a better battery life than the 3DS (a less powerful console), it really shows that the the batter situation is better than people make it seem. It's like people want to have their cake and eat it too.

@@mariowatson4963 A 3ds system playing a 3ds game lasts 3-5 hours and 5-8 with a ds game. Switch pre-upgrade was 2.5-6.5 hrs. The post-upgrade is now 4.5-9 hrs depending on the game

Well, I used a Switch for the first time this weekend (I know it's been out for a long time), and I can confirm that Mario Kart is still excellent fun on it, as is Smash Bros, Breath of the Wild and Octopath, and probably other games I have yet to play on it. You get used to the controller size pretty quickly.
Try the pro controller if you can afford it, I know it's stupidly expensive but it's legit better than even a PS4 or XBOX One controller
You should try out Splatoon 2 and maybe mario odyssey

Kirk Nelson I hate the fact that what you said is actually true. I've seen 8 year olds allowed to play bloody games where the objective is to simply kill somebody else. There are so many great games that are in no way bloody or include tons of murder that children could be playing, but instead playing games where you're rewarded for murder. I have no problem with a satirical and hyperbolic review of the Switch. That's why I watch these videos. My only real problem is you call them Honest Trailers so about half the viewers are going to take this seriously and either get offended or use this as ammo against the Switch. Mario 64, Sunshine, galaxy* & Odyssy: 3D platformers in sandboxed environments.
Non linear / sandbox... I think sandbox is fine. Non linear to me is more like luigi's mansion
James Oren. I think sandbox is somewhat of a synonym of open-world, but Mario games usually have segmented levels. We could argue Mario & Luigi games are sandbox, anyway
New Super Mario Bros (DS, Wii, 3DS and Wii U) are 2D platformers, with the only difference being using 3D models instead of sprites. In fact, Mario Maker has a skin of it, which looks basically the same, but uses 2D sprites instead, which in fact is what Donkey Kong Country did. Using 2D sprites made with 3D rendered models
Mario 3D Land/World and Galaxy are linear. You select a world and a star, and your only goal is to reach the end of the path. The only difference during gameplay is that Galaxy let you move more freely, control the camera, and it had variety of objectives, like rolling a ball, pushing Mario while in a bubble, racing some NPCs, racing a cosmic Mario, etc. In contrast, 3D Land/World had a more blocky design and your objective was to reach the goal flag, except on castles where your objective was to defeat Bowser. They had a very different feel, but they both were linear in a way. The difference was that 3D World/Land had a linear progression whereas Galaxy had a non-linear progression, while still having linear levels
Mario 64 and Sunshine were completely non-linear. You can select any level, and even if you select a star, usually you can collect them out-of order, and most (if not all) of the levels let you roam around freely, without a pre-set path
Now I'm playing Odyssey, and I absolutely love it primarily because of the non-linear level design. I can land on a level and move anywhere I want, and collect those power moons in any order I want, while still having some obligatory moons to progress on the story. I'm going for a 100% run, and I absolutely love that I can explore the different worlds and find their secrets to collect all the possible moons. That's something we hadn't got since Mario Sunshine. While I loved Galaxy, I did hate that we couldn't explore the world, but only follow the pre-set path

Because a lot of it isn't factually true. Yes, some things are. But a lot of them either have since been fixed (Frame rate) or are widely blown out of proportion in this video to the point where to a lot of us it's not hitting the mark of "It's funny because it's true" which is the point of these.

Yeah, because it was released just a few years prior. Which means it's still fresh in everyone's mind. Also it's like the only one to release the year it was released so it had zero competition.

I actually found that pretty funny, since you know Mr. Bailey here is going to be mocking the shit out of that movie when it comes out. Because let's be honest, the best Transformers movie is the 1980s animated one, and that ain't saying much.

The joke was actually that XCOM2 is bullshit and evil. I don't actually find Nintendo games interesting. *Maybe* Samus Returns, but after Other M, I'm holding off on that until it's shown to be actually good. Nothing else they've put out thus far makes the Switch worth money to me.

I suppose that beats the alternative of them being humans who elected for double-amputation just for a sporting event that is likely to fall out of style within the decade. (Twintelle is the only smart one of the bunch. If the ARMS league ever disbanded, she'll still have both of her regular arms, and just have to go with shorter hair for a while.)
Actually, they didn't choose the ARMS life. According to the official lore, people have randomly had the stretch arm power since ancient times, and all of these people (including the current ones) don't know where it came from. Apparently Spring Man just woke up one day like that. Also, Mechanica just made a robot suit to be like the fighters she idolizes.
I don't think they actually know much about the Switch and are just pulling from message board nonsense in order to just have a video of some sort.
Whether you were joking or not, Motion Controls are awesome. They’re only gimmicky if they are made way for that specific game. Motion controls are really precise and just gimmicks in BOTW, Splatoon 2 (which are actually a essential to have precise and accurate aim) ARMS, MK8 DX, and I also heard they’re great in Super Mario Odyssey, but haven’t gotten to play that yet.
I think you mean NOT just gimmicks in the games you listed? Otherwise I don't understand your statement.
Anyhow, in BotW I really like how the motion controls work since I've always been bad at aiming with a controller, the Switch motion controls make it really easy to do general aiming with the thumbsticks and precise aiming with the motion control. Only bad thing about the controls is the shrines made entirely for using them in gimmicky ways
