Don't forget someone had to write this kick-a$$ song. Steve Perry wrote this song himself before he joined Journey in 1977, and it remains a go-to song to this day.

You should be happy that the band ' Journey ' , found a singer that could perform as closely as possible the vocal style of Steve Perry . Millions of fans are happy they did. Steve suffered medical conditions that took him out of the game. I personally think that Arnell was the perfect choice to continue the legacy of Journey, he is respectful and not trying to be a Steve Perry imitator, this is his natural voice and he and the band are continuing on entertaining the millions of fans who still enjoys watching them perform live.
