15 plus years i lost count. What i have learned is endurance and mental fortitude. You have more bad days then good you start thinking some times was this even worth leaving my family, the pain from the scouting, getting so tired hurts so bad but the mental endurance gets us by, that little bit of light shed on our confidence is illuminated brightly when it all comes together

…yes sir! …ability to tolerate discomfort for long periods of time = success!
I call it a gift. And perhaps, many times, more important than skill.
…What to do when the fish ain’t biting and the deer ain’t moving…’keep fishing and keep hunting.’
That advice may sound trite, but the fact is, the term ‘lucky’ fades away when you are successful in your outdoor pursuits year after year.
    …”he always sees deer. He’s so lucky….”
Nope, his feet are numb, rain dripping down his rear end, and he was up, again, at 3 am preparing for a day of misery in the woods. For me, it’s almost like fight club and getting smacked in the jaw…it’s a gift and I love it!!!

I have enjoyed 40 deer seasons this year and am still learning every time out , this year I shot my first deer with Traditional bow and tagged a really good 8 point with a rifle today . Nothing compares to the honest feeling hunting has given me over the years it's a clean feeling that can't really be put into words . Thanks for all the great content.

There are so many good things about this story, but if I had 3 things to pick out it was your thoughts while in the tree, and wow, don't we all think like that when we're puttin in long hours! The next was the Buck showing up, we all know that feeling when there is lots of quiet time then the moment where it all comes together! ..and the 3rd for me was where Josh literally went from thinking his Buck was not dead to finding him laying there! Anyone thats been through that knows that feeling! Great Video and Story! Congratulations on a Nice Ohio Buck!
