The price ranges he's giving are totally off. Even for the time frame he's quoting. There are hundreds of dollars in differences in every city for the basic apartments.

Hi Adam, Well these are numbers that are pulled directly from the last full year at the time of filming, from Apartment Guide, Niche and Zillow. I have seen a $900 swing between the many different reporting agencies. I do appreciate your comments and watching!

I’m sorry but where did you get the rent prices from and when? Average rent in phx for a 1bed and 1bath is just over $1500 beginning of 2023. It was $900 pre pandemic 3 years ago.

Hi Jay, From Zillow December 2021 I have to use a full year report, Even Apartmentguide.com has it at $1380 and stated not a full year. I have seen a $900 swing between most reported averages along with the lack of apartments driving costs up, a new number comes out every month but also states with the amount of construction going on to fill the need the averages could drop as much as 20% I believe as the economy straightens out the averages will drop again but that's just my opinion. Jay thanks for joining in on the community I really appreciate the views from others.

Not sure if there was a major price reduction/correction since 2023, but I’m thinking about moving to Phoenix and everything I’m seeing now (June 2024) is very similar to the prices in this video. Most 2-bedrooms I see are in the $1200-$1400 range, which is insane for someone like me coming from LA and who previously lived in the DC area. Can barely find a tiny studio in a sketchy neighborhood for that price in LA. I’ve also seen a few rare studios in the phx area and at least one 1-bedroom advertised below $1000. This may be a temporary price drop, but I think I might make the move and take advantage of it while I can
