Killing Dempsey reminds me of Teddy Roosevelt's death. "Death had to take him in his sleep because he would have fought back" or something along those lines
But then you think that Dempsey is a soldier and he might need some explanation and persuasion at first but he will lay himself down for the greater good.

I remember when the Void was considered the worst Bow in History but I’m Happy it’s now getting the credit it deserves. It was my fave since the map came out and whenever people said “why do you keep using that bow it’s the weakest” I just told them. “ It’s not the bow that’s weak, it’s the player” 😂

The rocket test is actually able to be activated manually. There is a little pad while wall running in the undercroft that activates the rocket test when you wall run over it.
That can't be done in solo. I mean you can but it makes no sense because you can't arrive to the rockey

I actually think Voyage is the only BAD map on Bo4. Granted, IX and AE are the only incredible maps, the rest are fun. DOTN is innovative, just tedious. But truthfully, AE should be double S tier. You know a map that finally gets me interested in the Chaos storyline has to be amazing...
Avery Buckley I agree but IMO voyage is the worst but I do think it’s a fun map
DE serves a perfect balance between simple players who don’t care about story and come here for the gameplay. Meanwhile, it’s also great for hardcore players who care about the storyline. Plus, the EE is doable for the average player too, not just hardcore fans. That’s one of the reasons why DE is one of my favorite maps.
Totally and I don't get why they don't get this by default. I'd just make the bows bit more easier to get for the casual players. You shouldn't need to look up guides to experience just the weapons of the map.
I feel it's not that great for hardcore if you aren't doing the egg because think about it you can only carry one now at a time and what does that leave you to work with when your setup... A bow and rags nothing else. Its still a good nap but very little to do
I honestly think that easter eggs should be hard and a casual should not be able to do them. Of they can its a bad ee

@@laithharisha1631 No. I think it rewards the players who are interested in easter eggs. It rewards the hardcore players who do them. If the easter eggs are a cakewalk then the hardcore players who are the only ones who do it get bored.

I've been a Void Bow guy since the first time I played this map. Seeing it get the respect it deserves brings a tear to my eye

When I first saw the ending cutscene of this map, I got the chills and feels at the same time. It was so heartwrenching! When I did beat the Easter Egg, I could not stop quoting the lines along with it.

Man, Vessi was my favorite memory from the map, I think it added more than anything else to Der Eisendrach. Could not have a DE retrospective without talking about Vessi.

@@nathanobrien3063 im always doing the firebow but its surely the most "glitched" one when it comes to killing, had lots of weird situations with this bow......the void bow is the best one for most kills and the lightning bow is best for camping or mass killing in tight situations

If anyone didnt know, the dissipation sound for the lightning upgraded charged orb shot is the same sound as the storm bow arrow impact sound.

Lowkey disagree it's not as appealing to the hardcore players bc of how easy it is and the bows being locked behind soul boxes gets annoying plus the setting and atmosphere is not even top 3. Worse of all local players have to do every bow which in solo is even more tedious than doing all the staffs. I'd give it a 9.7 along with origins and motd. Plus there isnt really that much innovation as most aspects are copied from other maps and not even revised well. The dragons dont even fit the theme of the map
I've said it before, many times and I'll say it again. Op unique fun weapons, equipment, train areas/good camp areas, fast travel of map = very high possibility of a great map as all maps should have these. DE has all. 💯
Imo op wonder weapons, good training areas, and op camping spots make a map way too easy and super boring to play. DE is objectively one of the greatest maps ever made but I can’t stand playing it for more than an hour because it’s so god damn boring

Der Eisendrache and Shadows of Evil will always hold a special place in my heart
in zetsu, takeo criticises richtofen for not waking up dempsey before killing him, saying they could have lost great knowledge

I legit beat this maps ee for the first time and got round 13+flawless+solo so this is a big achievement for me and a big coincidence considering I said to all my mates I would complete this maps ee before the retrospective came out and I did it legit 2 hours before it came out

I would disagree if the lightning bow hadn’t been patched to actually not be overpowered. However since it got nerfed and you can’t sit in a corner for it anymore then yeah I could see this map being perfect.
The background music was kind of annoying, but the video itself was amazing.

I loved this map and play with my cousin... I used the void bow and he used the lightning bow and it was just great... we could easy make it to round 50+ and we where just casual players...
