My Rahu Mahadasha ends next year...I can't wait...it's been in 18 years of mental/emotional hell since age 14. I will add that have this dasha as a teenager/young person and not being within a culture that has any spiritual awareness, contributes to the hell...no adults to support or understand what is happening, just inner chaos with no way out. Getting closer to Jupiter things have gotten better and better each year but still difficult as I struggle with self-discipline.

Dolly Manghat I am also in my Rahu Mahadasha since 2009. I am 24 now, so I am also having it since teen.
I recently read about something called Dasha sandhi which means the effects of a mahadasha don’t end or start abruptly . There is a formula to calculate this. 10% of the total mahadasha period divided by two. So 1.8 years which means ~21months total , split in two . So you will experience slowing down of Rahu energy in the last 10 months and building up of Jupiter energy in the first 10 months of Jupiter mahadasha. I have 2.5 years to go and I am so excited about it! Even though you don’t feel very happy about your Rahu dasha, I have read that you must have certainly gathered lots of experience which will help you in your Jupiter mahadasha .

Can’t wait for my Rahu Mahadasha to end next year. This dasha started for me when I was 9 years old. It’s given me good and bad. My education became a wreak but by my hard work I start again and i’m working my way up slowly. Emotionally it has made me a wreak and confused as a person with a lot of things. Hopefully my next Mahadasha which is Jupiter, will do better.

Best things you can do during Rahu Dasha:
1. Maintain good personal hygiene (can't emphasize this enough).
2. Keep your house clean and clutter-free (positive impact on your mental health + remember Rahu thrives in a mess).
3. Don't smoke or drink or do drugs (seriously, your mind doesn't need any further help in getting confused and unstable during this period).
4. Cut down consumption of meat (not sure if that's necessary but I feel my Rahu dasha went better when I was a vegetarian).
5. Don't assume that everyone is out to get you and ruin your life. Don't trust anyone blindly (let them earn your trust) but also give people the benefit of the doubt. There's a quote, "never attribute to malice what can be adequately explained by ignorance." You can replace 'ignorance' with Rahu.
6. Meditate to stay calm and be in the moment.
7. Dance, listen to music, play a sport, make art, basically do activities that take you out of your head.
8. Channelize your restless energy into something creative like a new project.
9. Be a drama queen if you must but never repress your emotions. Feel them, stay in touch with them, let them flow. Repressed emotions will make you look for things and people to fill the self-created emptiness, and Rahu loves that sh*t.
10. Love yourself enough to forgive and walk away.

Hi mine started in 17 yrs too.. now im 32 3 more years to go. I have had a lot of different experiences in this time some very good, a lot of them bad. I have gained almost everything materialistic but emotionally and mentally I have struggled a lot. Peace at home has been non existent since it happened. First my parents family, then my love life, then my married life. On paper all is good but im unhappy. It takes a lot to fight these thoughts everyday. Meditation helps so much. It changes everything and gets extremely good experiences and peace but I find it hard to do it regularly. Self sabotage is a big part of this time. Can't wait for it to end. There are many positive experiences as well its not only worst.

My life has had ups and downs but in the past 3 years I've been the most balanced mentally and spiritually. I'm in Rahu mahadasha only have 8 years left, my natal Rahu is in Aquarius 1st house conjunct Venus, Mercury, sun and moon. I wake up 4am everyday and do a 15-30 min meditation or prayer of gratefulness. Definitely have become more content, positive and aware the past 3 years.

i am going through rahu MD.. Time is slowly getting better.. only the thing is that you should be aware of your responsibilities. It will be ending in 2025, placed in 6th (saggitarius) and aspected by mars from 12th.. getting opportunities but have to move carefully :)

I'm in my fifteenth year of rahu (who is gandanta in ashlesha) mahadasa. In the interim I've had Sani transit 12th, lagna, 2nd and now 3rd, and just now entering sadi sati. You can imagine my perceptions of life and I no longer expect anything from it but perpetual annoyances. This includes the perpetual invasion of my no longer private mental space. I do however have a heart based thingy which seems to soften blows or my perceptions of. Many times doing this the expected fearful event pans out as a non event. And ya, I've kala sarpa also! Although I've planets with ketu in same house so according to some, I think, this weakens or cancels said yoga.
Need to shun negativity and take matter in your hands. I feel you are linking your situation with planetary positions and assuming things. Stay tuned for my video on this shortly but shrug off your negativity and get going ... God Bless!

Last time I got going I wound up doing 50 days due to a politically incorrect joke on school grounds - which gave me a record after 30 years clean. Perhaps you're not familiar with police states and rabid pc environs where mere thought or expression can get you in trouble. No one wants to hire me due to this trivia as the whole region is uber pc and superficial.
I've waxed telepathic and this has essentially turned into a nightmare as I endure incoming impressions all day everyday. Much of the time I can't tell my own inner voice as to incoming. Of course, my situation is heavenly compared to many a poor soul. Events, these days, appear to be carefully orchestrated.
I've seen alien craft - which responded to me personally - on 8 occasions. No one around here can say that as they are too caught up in the game. But since that time things have turned surreal in how I'm Set up almost on a daily basis.
Along these lines, you would not believe how invasive animals can be once they pick up on your telepathy. These loafing critters like to "hang out" in your mental space and follow what you are doing. No one around here has to deal with this as I've observed. I'm an artist and these rats follow my sessions.... Dogs will bark if I get emotional or excited over something I'm working on. Yet I've repeatedly made it clear I loath than and to leave me the phuck alone!!!!; but they won't and there's the torture. I think this is why they eat dogs in Asia now. The old philosophy behind it. Odd post huh?
These past six years have been OFF the F---chart in surreal happenings. I'm a student with Dirah International's Jyotish course! and I've been sharing many of my strange events with my mentor. He says it's ketu in my 6th. That is, pests... Indeed. Every day is like a war with pests who do as they please while I have to toe the line in everything. This isn't even a vent or self pity but objective. Like how one can drive down a long stretch of road and see no cars; where when you get to the sharp bend there will be a barreling truck right at that exact spot, to then drive on and see no more vehicles.
I've learned how to read signs and omens which 90% pan out accurately. Much of the time it is Uncannily accurate; I can judge the Degree of the challenging event by the nature of the sign or omen. If I, say, catch a whiff of something foul in an area where one would not expect that, then within 12 hours or less something inevitably bad happens. A real freak show is that whenever I see these real neat looking Green insects, in Close proximity, something good happens latter on. All this is like Clockwork. I'm onto something amazing... Problem is most omens are negative with challenging manifestations. Challenging yet manageable as I'm here typing. Point is I can tell something is on deck via these signs. I'm pondering the metaphysics of it all.
See my video with the Orbs. There are tons of vids with orbs... Yet note that they are mostly random appearances. I've learned how to call them in... They've done conspicuous antics to let me know they are both intelligent and willful. I think ALL of this is tied together in some kind of wake up call conjunct my errant conditioning!

going thru Rahu mercury right now - rahu in 12th with mercury moon and sun ( everyone more than 5 degrees apart except moon and mercury ), the lesson in learning in this antardasha i feel is making a decision and sticking to it, but its really hard, like a person with ADHD sitting down and actually finishing a task in 2 hours without getting up which is monumentally tough but thats rahu

There has been some misunderstand in the community and I have been answering some of these questions. By Saturn period, I meant Sade Sati not Saturn Mahadasha. Hope that helps clear doubts. God Bless!

Since Rahu mahadasha started I got so much I cleared IELTS exam ,I cleared three state police exams , I found running as a hobby and I am very fit and fine. On the top of that I am going to Canada for higher studies.The only problem I am facing is mental stress and illusions about my mental health I m always feeling that I m mentally unhealthy and I have some psychological problem otherwise I m doing very well any suggestions mam??
Don't take good things for granted . Rahu Rahu can be tricky . In the Rahu Rahu period , even I achieved a lot . But Rahu takes back everything it gives in the beginning of the dasha .
