Moving is hard but moving & having 3 small children, stressful is putting it mildly. I hope this temporary condo works well for you, don't rush or settle on your next home, extend this rental if you need to. Wishing you all the best...

I think it is hardest on your children. Having to start a new school every hear or so. Always being the new kids. Having to make new friends. With two children being little people they even have a bigger mountain to climb. You might not think so but I was a teacher and the new kids can be picked on and teased. They might not tell you but when they get older it can cause them problems.

Thanks for the back story..never saw you on tv or knew who you were. Now i know!! Glad your Mum can help SO much. She's a gem. Its relaxing for us to see you house hunt but obv for you it's major. We bought house we're in over 44 yrs ago but back then our kids were 1, 3 & 5. We've done heaps but back then it wasnt perfect and the kitchen was in an awkard place. But my Mum saw it 10 minutes before i went in( husband away for work so no Facetime back then!!) And said..its a great home but remember..the kids are little now but in 4 yrs the kitchen problem wont matter..she was So right..and when they were teenagers we built on 2 new rooms & another bathroom. So think ahead !! Enjoy the process and film for us. When i walked in our front door all those years ago i knew it was the one for us despite just arriving! We looked at plenty but gave up the pool for more pressing things...lots of bedr oo ms & high ceilings..having 1 bathroom didnt matter. When kids left home we cleared our yard & shed & built my Mum( then aged 89) a new small courtyard home...she had 10 good years there & we loved her being so close

Elena why not consider Arizona or Nevada. It’s still got California weather without the high prices. You can get a nice new home in Nevada.Cali is gonna be high even for old prices.

Please think before voting people this is crazy 5k a month for a one bedroom 😳 hotel. I'm in Phoenix, and even the same type is about 2k a month. My mother is a single mom who is a very hard worker but paid for a townhouse for 40k! In the 90s!!! FYI a house already built and paid for 2x now costs 215k 😢😢😢 if not for you for these babies... and I don't even have babies. Love and light to all 🙏❤️🙏

Humans were not designed to stay in one place. We were once nomadic. Always looking for better locations nearer water sources caves, building materials, food. Away from hostile elements. We've supposedly, evolved but we are still always looking for a better situation. There's nothing wrong with that , just as long as we always live within our means and do not put our hats higher than we can reach them. Enjoy looking for the new dwelling place and may it be the perfect fit for all of the family's needs.
