    The Patriots haven't "upgraded?" What?! This year they will actually be trying to win games. You imply that they were trying to win games last year? Which freaking one was that? Mac threw 3 pick sixes which is a franchise record and they were 27th in the red zone. The goal was a high draft pick, a lot of cap space and a weak schedule...just where in that smoking shell hole of a season was there an attempt to win games?

    I am completely OK with letting Jaden or Drake sit and come in once in a while. We are not winning the Super Bowl next year that’s a fact. Let them gain experience. While we acquire more weapons and protection for the following season. If we win six games or five or four, that’s fine because we can get one of the best guards or tackles in next draft

    I hate all these people saying you take a quarterback at 3, and not saying THE quarterback. The Patriots cannot settle for whoever falls to them, they need to identify THEIR GUY and go get him if need be. If they don't have someone they're not willing to do that with, then they don't have THE GUY. You then should stick and pick the best available which is MHJ, or trade down to get more draft picks. Then draft a quarterback with the second round pick that you can develop.

  • @ConversionCenters

    It is not a "strong quarterback draft." Williams is very good and worth a first overall but the rest of the guys are late first or below.
    Brissett fights with Zappe for the starter's role and they draft a QB in a later round. Brissett is here to start this year. He played for van Pelt in Cleveland.
    He'll have maybe Ridley Henry and a first or second round pick to throw to. They have a weak schedule a very good defense, Brissett doesn't melt under pressure, plays his butt off....ten wins? I'll take that for an improvement.
    No rookie QB starters for the Pats this year we already had a 3-14 season.

    • @WLJ1287
      @WLJ1287 3 месяца назад

      Williams isn’t that much over maye or Daniels. It’s as likely that only 1 of them amounts to anything and that the 1 isn’t the first one taken. This is a cold weather spot and they need a qb who has size to deal with that

He has a cannon of an arm, can run, is a leader, he's accurate and makes better decisions with the ball. He also has great pocket feet. Don't be fooled by the amount of td's. Daniels played with a great arsenal throwing to his 1st 2 reads in his 5th year. Maye doesn't have neither the feet, or quick decision making. I will root for whoever they pick, but I do believe JJ is the best QB of the bunch and he's younger than most, coach3s can polish him better.
