As a mom of 4, I can't imagine going a month without fresh produce. My kids love to snack on fruits and veggies throughout the day. Just recently my 8 year old has been asking for celery so she can make ants on a log. 🙂 Does your school have a lunch pickup for distance learners? I know in our district (in MN) all lunches are at no cost for the remainder of the school year. We place our "order" for each kid, and then pick up on Mondays. It's been a big helper for our food budget. (I say "order" because we don't get to choose what we want, it's just a number count for the food service department)
I go few times a week to pick up fresh veg..and fruit...I only have 1 teen....but she goes to school...so I have to pick up fresh stuff and milk and bread

The only time I ever use paper plates and plastic utensils is for a picnic every couple of years haha But I get it, sometimes I'm not even that excited for dinner because I think of all the dishes that I have to clean 😩😩 Especially after all these massive holiday dinners! Anyhow, the raspberry pecan dressing sound so good oh my! My sister lives not to far from you. She's in Karnes just east of you. I enjoyed shopping at HEB when I was there in October. Hope to move there some time next spring.
Eggs are good source of protein and not to expensive. Peanut butter on toast with banana good source of protein and keep you full. Bananas are .49 cents a pound. Dollar Tree has dried beans $1.00 and buy rice at Walmart cheaper. Make beans and rice. Dollar Tree had bigger cereal honey oats and apple rings $1.00. French fries $1.00. Frozen veggies 16 oz $1.00.
Hamburger helper Stroganoff and cheeseburger macaroni are my family favorites. Yes they may not be healthy but they're quick and tasty. Don't sleep on Hamburger Helper. Super haul for $527. Thanks. That's the thing about shopping for your own family, you can go whenever you want to! Lots of people grow their own food and preserve it so no need to go to the store every single week. It's whatever works for your family!

I have 2 teen boys and a teen girl and we are spending about $650 - $750 but my kids are homeschooling so they are eating all meals all snacks and desserts from home.
If you and hubby love everything bagels you need to try the bell peppers or mini peppers with cream cheese and everything bagel seasoning. It is so good and keto.
I bought and ate plummelos when I was pregnant I was extremely sick my whole pregnancy and anything I ate during it I could not eat ever again I can’t even go into Aldis because of the smell of the place
Love your haul! Apparently there are persons on here that are a little overly obsessed with the need to see fresh fruit.....first of all frozen fruit is perfectly fine...plus not everyone is so obsessed with fresh fruit... especially in these times...trips to the grocery stores can be a chore...continue to buy non perishables as much as possible...these times are constantly changing...availability of produce and staples can be iffy ..do what you do and block the people who never learned to keep negative comments to themselves.

Glad you got some fresh fruit. I was worried as the first part of the video had so much processed food. Kids need a balanced diet, so not to have weight issues when they get older.

It's been three weeks for us too. I just had to stock up and spent a bit more than I wanted but it was SO necessary.

Pomelo are lovely. I believe they are from Asia and a mix off grapefruit and orange. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do

Depends on what colour/level your municipality is in but the red level, yeah no gathering.
The state I live in is recommending not to have get togethers. It's definitely not fun, but a sacrifice to be made.
