Zippy, I’ve been watching you since I was back home in South Africa. I never imagined that I would one day live in the same city as you.
I get your point about the laid back culture and how easy it is to neglect yourself. When I first arrived, I constantly felt like I was over done. The weird part is that even though I put in so much effort, no one compliments me or cares to notice. I’ve still continued to dress up because I enjoy it, but it’s a massive culture shock.
Also be kind to yourself. You’re doing great.😊
