My fourth time listening today in September 2023 to this superb masterpiece. Gets better each time. I first heard it in 1997. I had the privilege of attending his concert when he came to the Academy of Music in Philadelphia, PA. A truly wonderful experience. Such elegance and style. Reaches straight to your soul. The last note is so hauntingly beautiful. Noone can surpass Yanni. ❤❤❤❤❤l

Vengo con frecuencia a escuchar las diferentes versiones y Luis aquino en India es mas melodica, mas pulida , mas sonora y sin incidentes o notas en scratch, Completamente limpia version. No me atrevo a decirlo como es pero no le encuentro una falla para ser en vivo, es factible se falle, Pero de acuerdo al 100%, la mejor interpretacion es esta y su otra version en China, esta es algo extra aparte.

When I referred to Luis Aquino as a "top notch trumpet player" I was referring to him regardless of the instrument he was playing at the time, which indeed was a flugelhorn - no disagreement there. My favourite Yanni piece of all time. I can watch it 100 times in a row. The Flugel horn solos, the bass solo, the cellos coming in, the keyboard solo all just combined well to catapult this piece to an amazing level!

This song was the first one that left me enchanted by Yanni. It's an elegant orchestra, the sound of each instrument is incredible, the drummer, the cellist, the guitarist, and everyone. Especially the piano and keyboard. I listen to it frequently, as it is also a milestone in Yanni's arrival in Porto Alegre, capital of Rio Grande do Sul, in the south of Brazil. A beautiful concert in 2012 and also in 2014 here at Teatro da Fiergs.
This music rendition is 8th wonder of the world. . Even if heard 24/7 continuously .. It never gets bored of... It's a ocean..one cannot drink..And a great depression killing medicine.. Thank you yanni, ric and the great team for this fabulous rendition.. You are a gift from heaven!

Mr.Aquino passed away back in 2007. He was found dead. What happened is still unknown. Blunt force trauma is the cause of death. His music and leagcy still survives to this date.
