Last time I saw a 305 was 2 years ago on a windy country road in the hills of Auvergne, driving down was the beat up Peugeot with an old farmer at the wheel. Less glamorous, but more real.

For it's time it was a safe reliable small sedan, did rust a bit but electric windows central locking massive sunroof and tinted windows, still have fond memories.

Pug 305 was extremely highly regarded at the time by those who knew their stuff - checkout LJK Setright's* writings in Car Magazine (*legendary motoring journalist - even Clarkson recognises him as such)
