7:57 Female officer, **Thinks in her mind** "Holy shit, my colleague is having a rough time with that chap, ohh, oohh, she was just tackled to the ground, do you need any help there mate?" LOL xD
Speaking as a special, I find the majority of the clips in this series embarrassing, as a lot of these specials seem to be the prime example of what the regs hate. How can you sit there and watch the reg do everything, while you stand there gawping like a goldfish.... "It doesn't phase me"... Well it wouldn't love would it because you didn't do anything.
Utterly useless. As someone who's just gone through the specials process, I was surprised at how easy it seemed. I do feel the application process does need to be stricter to filter out these lot who are just totally incompetent
That’s up to local district, borough and unitary council not the police, but if the council does put in place a ban on alcohol it isn’t a full ban it usually goes something like this ‘if a constable or other authorised person asks a person to stop drinking alcohol or put away a container of alcohol in the restricted area and the person fails to do so they commit an offence and are liable to arrest, a penalty notice and confiscation of the alcohol’
if what the woman is saying about her lighter being dropped the ground by the officer searching her , then i believe the officer should have picked it up and given it back to the woman rather than to say to her that she does not take orders from her.
@@haider7866 full disclosure yes, a lot of the specials we work with are beyond useless, they make most situations worse, but policing is hard grueling work we're all grumpy cynical bastards who talk shit about everyone so don't let that put you off
@@solomonwalker4132 thanks for being honest, I'm 24 and want to go down the route of being a special and after a couple years hopefully applying for full time time if a vacancy arrises' the other option would be to apply direct but you need a level 3 diploma which I don't have, too late now especially with a little child and grumpy wife to look after
8:00 why is she being arrested and taken to the floor for that? All she did was let fly with a few fucks after the Police not only unlawfully searched her bf but also carried out an unlawful search on herself for no reason. I understand her behaviour was unacceptable but why did they have to escalate the situation? If it were me wearing the uniform I'd walk away and ignore her.
4:34 Kirsti Bruce is wrong and I don't see why she and her colleague have to start an argument with the woman over that. To be fair she was being nice and just asking not demanding.
"It's quite similar working with the public as it is with children." - says a lot about society that
Respect to the specials

Gobby bird in the beginning must be awful to live next to. Feel sorry for the neighbours putting up with that.
I'd hate to have that kind of neighbor.

***** Right? haha
Indeed!
Nice handle the protes friends in blue
Why am I arrested? She's asks as he's literally reading her, her rights & telling her it was due to her antisocial behaviour 🙄
It doesn't phase you because you did fuck all love, rather have a whole team of probies than one fuckin special

Got any advice? Have my interview next week, hopefully get through and do enough time to become a reg.

Prohibiting alcohol consumption on public property would be the first civil thing to do

What age do u have to be to become one
+Hamish 18 is the minimum age to apply
18 BUT I wouldn't join straight away join atleast when ur 25 is the best
I'm very supportive of the police and work with them often but Kirsti was of no help to her colleague.
Specials are largely an utter waste of time and get in our way
Most competent special in all of London
I wanted to join the army but I don’t like the idea of dying, So I might becom a SPC

If you bend down or turn your back on a clearly aggravated and threatening suspect you will very quickly find yourself getting fucked up

4:37 No it doesn't, if I were a Police officer I wouldn't search the man and certainly wouldn't search the woman with her!
theres nothing wrong with throwing things especially a decent sized brick at nazi's n racists ...

I'd say incompetent to!

Marcus Potter will you shut up please
No, I stand by my comments!
Good job you're not wearing the uniform then.
We'll have to agree to disagree, I would make a good copper but to be honest I wouldn't wanna be one!
Well, in ten years when you reach the minimum age requirement, you can re-asses your decision.

True
They had every right to be that
