Atlantis and Treasure Planet deserve more love as animated sci-fi films. Also Kida is a great Disney princess

This is an underappreciated Disney movie. One of the ones I'd love to see as a live action because it sadly released at just the wrong time. I love it a lot more as an adult. The humour is great!
The forgotten Princess Kida! I just enjoy everything about this one. And so happy to see y'all together again 😄 This came out at the same time as _Shrek_ and _Tomb Raider_ (another fun one for your polls!) so it didn't get as much attention until later. This was also Jim Varney's final role.
I've never thought much about Atlantis, but kinda lean towards Malta or Helike being either something once known as Atlantis and the tales have been embellished over time, or what influenced Plato's description of a lost city.
This is honestly one of my favorite movies that Disney ever made! Michael J. Fox was phenomenal as Milo!! I heard that Disney wants to make a live action remake I think. I think it might still be a rumor but the rumor is that Disney wants Tom Holland to play Milo, which I wouldn’t mind at all! This movie is honestly a very underrated animated gem! I watched it the first time when I was 14 but I didn’t remember anything. I saw it with a friend during a watch party in early September and I absolutely love the movie!! Im so glad you all are watching more Disney animated movies!!
Yeah ya know... that's a Disney live action I'd be down for. Havent been interested in any of the live action remakes we got so far, but if done right, this could be really cool live action
Disney *is* developing a live action remake, but there hasn’t been any information since it was announced.

They did a great job of introducing a diverse cast of characters without focusing on their gender and race, just amazing characters in action.
One of Disney's most underrated gems! In my opinion, Atlantis The Lost Empire is a great movie. Good story, likable characters, great voice actors, and good action scenes. Wish it did better at the box-office. Awesome reaction! And please react to Treasure Planet in the near future!

When I think of the guy from SNL I think of the part he has in Casper when he shows up as the priest to cleanse the house.

Without a doubt my favorite Disney movie! The day they announce that a live-action remake is officially happening I’m going to be very happy. Also you might be interested to know that Sweet was voiced by none other than Jackie Chiles from Seinfeld 😂

Most favorite film, just the idea of a lost city sunk beneath the waves, so advance in technology that its possible there was power incorrectly used that lead to the fall.
Rip to Leonard Nimoy who voiced the King (Kida father)
There was a series planned taking place after the film for Disney Channel but the pilot episodes in DVD did poorly so it was scrapped. They wanted to do a series about how many cultures are related to Atlantis.
This film had most death toll.

@@artsysabs I say yes, with thousands who didn't make it past the shield barrier created by the crystal leaving thousands to drown. Then number of ships sunk by the leviathan (mechanical lobster) over the years, (crew depending on ship) then the crew that was in the sub and the escort mini subs.
Actually, it's tied with Hercules for second. Dinosaur has the most (3 million Lemurs on the island that was hit)

This is such an underrated movie.
It's something small but interesting. The sound effect they used for Rourke's scream, when he dies, is Ed Carr's scream from The Lost World: Jurassic Park, when he's killed and eaten by the T-rex parents.
I believe them to react to Wes Anderson's Fantastic Mr. Fox, a masterpiece

To you three gals I would recommend Ever After: A Cinderella Story, starring Drew Barrymore. So full of warmth AND comedy! I think you will all love it; it's one of the best Cinderella movies ever made

Things get lost in history, but not in space. If you remember earth science then you know that a sunk or disappeared continent is impossible in a world with tectonic plates. We've known this since the 60s. Plato was telling a fictional story with a moral, and rather than pay attention to the moral, people ran for the rowboats.

This is one of my favorite Disney movies, especially dubbed in Finnish. The voice acting gives the characters an energy the English voice actors don't have, even if the English ones are really good, and matches the animation a little more in my opinion.
That said, Roarke is also one of the dumbest antagonists I've ever seen. Proving Atlantis is real? Sure. Finding out there's 8-to-9-thousand year-old people in it still alive and kicking? Cool, cool.
Showing that to the world and getting fame, glory and wealth beyond your beliefs? Nah. Kidnap a crystal-possessed girl and sell her for money? Thaat's the one!
