Yea. If Travis was dismissive of the reid situation then it'd be a whole different scenario. Travis explained he got emotional. Did somethings he shouldn't have and talked it out with andy. So i have little to no doubt whatever tension was there is probably gone now

Agree, nice to take some ownership of it. To be honest, I didn't think it was that big a deal. This is the kind of thing that happens in sports, although it's usually a coach getting in the grill of an athlete. There is something quite magical about listening to two brothers having each other’s back, sharing wisdom, being accountable with compassion and nothing but love for each other!❤
Jason passionately rationalizing and explaining to those of us that aren’t in the locker room and on the playing field regarding in game emotions, respect and intense desire to win, while at the same time, coaching his brother, is the most brotherly love there could ever be!!!!
I absolutely love love LOVE that Jason was able to celebrate this win with Travis. They have such a wonderful brotherly dynamic, and since they aren’t able to celebrate wins as teammates, I’m so glad they were able to celebrate this one as brothers. 🥳🧡

Mahn in Saudi Arabia, they would probably send him to 10 years of concentration camps. And here you are acting like nothing happened “hehe” what a brainwashed liberal biden voter you are
My favorite part of this show is the relationship between these brothers. In every single episode you can see how much they love and respect each other. Jason is so protective of Travis and Travis obviously idolizes his big bro. It's beautiful. Seeing men so in touch with their emotion and not afraid to show how they feel. New Heights is one of the best things to come out of these past 2 seasons. I hope they keep this show going for many seasons to come.
That late-game catch by Travis, where Next Gen Stats said he reached a top speed of nearly 20mph, was phenomenal! Not because of the catch itself, but because of the top speed he reached. Nick Wright over on First Things First brought up this Next Gen Stats nugget on the show, and mentioned it was the fastest Travis has been on the field in 7 years! That's amazing for a 34-year-old with 11 NFL seasons under his belt now.

This isn’t a normal job or a normal situation this IS the Super Bowl and it takes insane skill insane drive and insane mentality to get there and win it. Over and over again. Tom Brady said it best. He said the Chiefs are a family and it was a little family thing. He said Travis is very passionate about football and wants to win and Chiefs coach Reid loves those kind of players and loves Travis. As Travis loves him. Travis can make more money on another team but chooses to stay with the Chiefs.
Oh hell yeah. So many teams would’ve given him sooo much even just to get him away from Pat and because he’s so good. It’s funny that’s never been a fear that Travis would leave… I respect the hell out of that. Loyalty is so important

@eboy3134 anything seems trivial if you frame it like that. The super bowl is a cultural icon for America, it matters a lot to a lot of people and getting emotional and irrational as a result makes sense. Yes, Travis gets a little too intense at times, but its not an indictment of his abilities.

I read that Travis Kelce reached a top speed of 19.68 mph when he ran past Fred Warner to set up the Chiefs game-tying field goal, that was his fastest speed in seven years. He almost had 100 yards in the second half alone. He's a cheat code. Enjoy him & never take him for granted

Travis still needs to get his shit together when he's running hot. Not good for publicity. They should be playing in a cave amongst themselves, then the excuses would be more accepted.
I remember watching this pod cast a year ago after the 2nd win, and than watching the one where Travis tried to give Taylor a bracelet with his number on it, and here we are now a year later 🍿
Andy Reed is the best coach He encourages and COUNTS ON players being their authentic selves. He knows HOW to dial Travis up and when to unleash him.. HE holdS him out, holdS him back, then puts him in. Notice that he doesn’t even LOOK at or react to Travis’s passion ? He doesn’t want any of it to dissipate. He know it will explode on the field. Skills can be honed with practice. Athletic ability can be improved with conditioning. But traits like passion, competitiveness, unselfishness, leadership, and the ability to attract friends and get along with people are the real secret sauce that make a team. Andy finds those gems and builds a team around them.
The emotions are fine. Idk why soo many people have acting triggered over it. It's the superbowl ffs. Maybe if the 49ers would've shown more emotion and complained less they would've won. It's not like Travis smashed Andy with his helmet or something. I'm glad Andy and the chiefs organization gets it and gets players. You're seeing more teams do this as well. Like in the afc you got the ravens, browns, Texans, Steelers etc where they all show a ton of emotion. Then you see all these player led teams are having more success. Over the older style of do your job where those teams are constantly bad
As a lonely only I am so in awe of the relationship you two brothers share, @Jason, thanks for the way in which you responded to Travis & the sideline event with Andy, you made your point but at the same time totally & completely understood what went down - To Travis, your accountability for the same event was exactly what I expected from you, "ownership" and regretful for those actions while owning them, unfortunately as we all know one can't un-ring a bell, but you owned it. Also @Travis, PLEASE keep the beard, trim it back to a shorter look. Blessings to you and T Swift, I hope you've each found your soulmate. Spiritually, I am tired of idolatry blinding people from holding our heroes accountable. If a black player or someone from the opposing team behaved that way it, imagine the response. 🙄 Plenty of *passionate* NFL greats have not had displays like that. It doesn’t just “come with the territory” - the same way shooting innocent people shouldn’t come so readily to an impassioned cop. 🙄 It’s the Superbowl, not Iwo Jima. A simple apology to everyone watching - esp with kids - would have sufficed.
Before anyone comes after Travis they need to check themselves- have you ever gone off on someone in the heat of the moment and said something you regretted? I know i have. How would you feel if someone unfairly labeled you? We are all fortunate our worst moments didn't end up on a jumbotron and TVs all over the world. I've not ever been in a Super Bowl game type pressure so he won't get judgment from me.

While Jason chided Travis and let him know what he did was wrong, he didn't criticized him, he instead tell of the importance of being accountable and trying to make the positive adjustments. Thanks for taking my lifelong Chiefs love to the top before my end . And thanks for the bonus involvement with my Chiefs.
I love that Jason holds Travis accountable and keeps him in check. I also love how he explained the interaction between coach Reid and Travis. So much respect for Travis owning it too. I could tell it was a very passionate moment. Congrats to the Chiefs for the amazing win!
Being accountable is saying it was totally wrong and not half way justifying it! It’s like saying so what man I beat my wife but it’s bc of how passionate I am about her and how emotional she makes me I can’t control my actions!

That’s the Swift effect!!! :-)

And here you are acting like nothing happened hehe what a brainwashed liberal biden voter you are
I'm thankful Coach Reid and Travis love eachother. That kinda love is powerful man! That's why they are 3X World Champions together. ❤ 🏆 Congratulations KCMO is so proud!
Dang, you two are the best brothers!! Plus the best podcast ever!! Love how Jason seems more like a father, best friend and brother to his younger brother ❤
"Jason Daniel." .. 😂😂😂😂 Kylie owns him. Such a queen.
The muffed punt hit a 49ers player's foot before it got to McCloud. Heads up play by both McCloud and the Chiefs.
Definitely one of the best super bowls I've seen in awhile.
I was one of the people going hard against Travis after his outburst. I wish I would have kept my thoughts to myself. I understand better. I appreciate the recognition it was over the top and the head on approach in discussing it.
@@EphesianRoseshut up and dribble 👍
@@EphesianRose sorry, "spiritually" shut up and dribble
Nah. It’s fair criticism, definitely a bad bad look for all the kids watching the game. At least he addressed it which is good
Before anyone comes after Travis they need to check themselves- have you ever gone off on someone in the heat of the moment and said something you regretted? I know i have. How would you feel if someone unfairly labeled you? We are all fortunate our worst moments didn't end up on a jumbotron and TVs all over the world. I've not ever been in a Super Bowl game type pressure so he won't get judgment from me.
Love that Jason is now calling her Tay!!!
Wow! Jason's analysis of the Travis vs Coach Reid situation had me in awe! While Jason chided Travis and let him know what he did was wrong, he didn't criticized him, he instead tell of the importance of being accountable and trying to make the positive adjustments. His remarks also pinpointed the key ingredient of "understanding" in a relationship. Coach understood Travis and his passion! Wow! This was an excellent teaching point!! Thank you so much Jason! In Jamaica we'd say "Nuff respect yute!"❤❤🇯🇲
I loved seeing Travis erupt in laughter at Jason's after-party antics! 😂
No matter how big a star Travis becomes, his big bro will always bring him back down to Earth 💯
Yes!
Sooo true!!! And I bet Kylie will check Jason if he ever needs the reminder. Love them!!!
Watched the SB from Australia live and loved it!! Thanks to NewHeights have better understanding of rules n tactics now do can enjoy …
Kylie definitely knows Jason. Cracked me up when she called out his three moves! Would loved to have heard more from her. Kylie rocks!😂

Trav addressed this well. We know you love big red. My mom who doesn’t watch football says “I love watching this papa and his kids”.😂😂😂😂😂😂
I’m not a football person… what am I doing glued to this podcast?! You guys TRANSCEND!! ❤
Imagine how much fun it is for football fans!
Im asking myself the same question?!?😂
"If you see a luchador mask you don't ask questions. You put that baby on." I am in stitches Jason 😂
World Record: How many times "ELECTRIC" was said in one podcast! Congratulations, Uncle Travvy, and those CHIEFS ❤💛
They need to have a "Electric" counter every episode from now on
Trav asked Taylor if it was electric (watching the end of the game) So, that must be one of their family sayings
@user-ng3ty4lo6g if you've watched this podcast you'd notice they've said it alot for the last couple years
New drinking game
Ps we are a Travis Kelce fan, my son has been a Taylor fan and my husband says Jason is legit!!! Yall are awesome, down to earth and hilarious!! We’re in Colorado but kelce/swift fans!!!🎉❤
Travis it's time to SHAVE the beard! There's only room for one Kelce to have a caveman look and that's Jason 😂
I think Taylor likes the beard
@@francesimile Maybe he will shave it off soon. It was just a playoff beard.
YES. He looks like a REAL Yeti now.. 😂😂😂 imo, he looks better with longer hair and a nice short goatee.
It looks good but needs a trim
@@francesimile hopefully not!
