Hello and welcome to Walk in Rio channel!
Botafogo Praia Shopping is a shopping center located in front of Botafogo beach, Rio de Janeiro, opened in 1999.
Though it is one of the smallest malls in Rio it is however one of the tallest shopping malls in Rio de Janeiro, with eight floors, features the Cinemark cinema. Among the attractions of Botafogo Praia Shopping Center are Livraria Saraiva Megastore, Botequim Informal (with a privileged view of Botafogo Bay), Japanese restaurant Kotobuki, a small McDonald's , currently managed by franchisee André Stauffer and having as manager Mr. Nélio Mataruna, former subordinate of Walney Monteiro, with whom the young Nélio learned, in part, the art of management; a Starbucks coffee shop as well as stores such as Reserva, Vila Romana, Aviator, among others. It has a privileged view of the Pão de Açúcar and the Enseada de Botafogo.
