congratulations for your patience, budy,, it teach us a lot.. I could see the cloud was telling you not to get closer from the first collapse.. You handle it super..
At the beginning of this video I thought it was OD, but when you dropped 1000 ft it looked fine to me. What did you do to pop that cravat out so fast? you had a 50% tuck and it came out in a mili second. Great job. Thanks for sharing
Reaction time looks absolutely fine and in control - he sorted out the twist, then accepted that the cravat & spiral dive was a good, quick way to lose height (-10m/s), which he had been trying to do anyway under the very sucky OD cloud; he wasn't fighting it or using the brakes much in the spiral, so not apparently panicked or over-stressed; when he pops the cravat out with a super quick stall (play from 3:05 in 1sec steps, at about 3:08 he has applied brakes, and by 3:11 the cravat has gone); the left wing tip cravat is a non-event, and yes, he's not especially hurried about getting rid of that. Overall a good job, I think ..
you are waiting after collapse why? if you lost direction you will catch it immedietly... collapse starting 3300 finishing 2500... 700 mt fall in! take care good job.
Brian Dillon For a moment i think you needs reserve but you have a control. This black cloud not a problem for me because i am skydiver and my parachute no have a problem with this. One day o want learning fly with paraglider. Congrats for your video ando sorry my inglish. I from Brazil and i learning inglish. Blue skies!!
Wow, I would have tried a full stall to recover the cravette

1000m I think...
Pretty sure he stalled the wing to release the cravat. Possibly he waited until he lost some altitude, but only he knows.
Awa Drone I bet you are right. Looked pretty over developed.
Nice toss !

Is there a Pilot there ?
His reaction time is terrifying !
Bruno Jacquet my thoughts exactly... untwisted the risers well.. then no reaction for good 10-15 secs to stop or at least counter the rotation.. odd

I think it was more of a quick get away from the cloud above and it may as well be that he likes the sense of Gs...
nice
What you doing under such monster black cloud anyway? You are very luck or very silly....
