Hi , I am really sorry that I am a greenhand in RUclips, and I didn't notice your message. Do you mean the Windows 8 laptop can not connect to the Tenda's wireless sitgnal or even can not go the internet by an Ethenet cable? I need more information.

The default login password is admin, if you have no idea about the wireless password, you can login to the setup page and find the wireless security part, here you can find the password. Any more questions, you can send an email to support02@tenda.com.cn
Hi, sorry to reply you late. you can try to use a different channel, like channel 1, channel 6 or channel 11. Also you should better choose WPA-PSK or maybe WPA-personal as the security mode, and choose AES as the WPA algorithm. Any more questions, please contact us back.

Hi,can you go to internet with hardware connection? If you can, please try to change the SSID and choose WPA-PSK or WPA2-PSK as the security mode and AES as the algorithm. Any more questions, you can add our Skype ID: tendasz and we'll reply you in time.
hi, you may hold on the reset button for about 10s. To make sure resetting successfully, please release the button till you could see all the lights on and then off this process.
hi, you may try to go to the advanced settings, and then lan settings to change the lan ip address into 192.168.5.1 to have a try...maybe just a problem of ip conflict...

I got a w311r, but i can not follow this guide, i can not enter the site 192.168.0.1
reset it unuseful, the ethernet cable put in blue port is not active, if both ethernet cable put in yellow port, pc surf internet normally, help me

sajid noor Hi Sajid, before you get a router, how did you get online, connect your computer to a modem or just connect one network cable from your ISP to your computer. If you are the first choice, yes you do need a modem. If you are the second situation, then you do not.
