That last ride though . It was kinda hard to keep a straight face and dry eye . I’ve heard of people getting so attached to a character and I didn’t believe that until I played this game . And I’ve played GTA 5 and other open world games but never felt the way I felt in this game . Can’t understand why it didn’t win GOTY .
This game cracks my top 5 and this scene helped that. This game does a good job of showing the good and evil within a man and the struggle with which one comes out on top
Mike May what are the other 4? I'm a veteran gamer and maybe it's just because I just finished so it's still so fresh but I'd say in all honesty that rdr2 has the best and most engaging story I've ever played. I'd love to find another game with a story this good and immersive.
I just realized that the scene where Arthur says to the nun "i don't believe in nothing..." wasn't because he was a gunslinger, but because he had always believed in loyalty and at that point his worldview had just crashed down, and he had to figure out another one. I wonder how Arthur would have turned out if he were cured with a new worldview of taking risks on loving acts...
Moments like this and the ride back to Shady Belle are the reason this game is the GOAT. Should have won GOTY. The last time I’ve felt sad in a video game was Dom’s death in Gears 3.
Best game hands 🖐 down that I've played they should of killed Dutch's ass off instead of Arthur Arthur was loyal to the Bone and Dutch just threw him to the side for that peace of shit Micah sooooooo sad that Arthur had to die.

This part made me cry so sad. I got so invested in Arthur’s life
Malcolm Elliott yes me to, I’m crying rn watching it back, it was his last ride with his horse and with himself😭
Twitch_prodigyy_wr the music just makes it more sad, along with the voices of people he knows and met
Malcolm Elliott very true, next red dead I hope we play when he was younger or play Sadie that would be cool
Twitch_prodigyy_wr yeah that would be great. I also found out that Arthur was supposed to have a second love which may have been Sadie
Malcolm Elliott no it’s Mary, his first was his wife when a long time ago
