I also have a statement from my point of view that Mitsubishi excelled in the manufacture of this car, especially because the interior design of the cabin gives you the pleasure of driving and road experience, and the exterior design in general of the car is highly innovative from films and cartoons.❤🎉🎉
Thanks for your video. I've watched 100's of others but yours has by far given me exactly what I needed. An actual real world thrash. I've just bought a 2022 XLS in NZ but have been unfortunate not to have driven it first. Mind you it was a damage write off. Things still at the panel beaters getting some work done because a bolt wouldn't screw in. [bent rail]. Engine out and has now been painted under bonnet. Not far away. Hey mate great review, honest, and what I hadn't seen. Your steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car I might add. Mines the same, Electric Blue
Needs more power. I think the interior looks good, and the exterior is stylish - not quite my taste...but I wouldn't call it downright ugly - it will fit in a parking lot of Rav 4s, Honda Civics, and Hyundai Tucsons just fine. At the price point it is at, and Mitsubishi's warranty coverage, it's not a bad consideration. Hopefully they give it at least 200hp at some point.
@@Silverwarhawk Mitsubishi Heavy Industries is a huge mega Corp, cars are only a small portion of what they manufacture. I guess this division isn’t their main focus.
@@Silverwarhawk The interior is definitely showing its age. I have a 2010 Lancer and the sights and sounds were very familiar to me while watching this, lol.
For the price it's pretty competitive honestly. Just unfortunate they went and gave it the Eclipse namesake. They had plenty of small SUVs they could've taken a name from.
Your Outlander Sport is known in NZ and Australia as the ASX. NZ never got the early Eclipse here, instead we got a GSR or the full EVO as our stock. GSR was 1800cc with smaller turbo and lesser trim.
Mitsubishi Motors was strongly present in the Japanese arena. It has a wonderful, strong and solid car in uses. It must be the oldest Japanese industry. We are talking about a car that participated in World War II, like the cars of China.🇯🇵a🗾
Yes, Mitsubishi, my brother, is a very old company and has a very long history. It is the oldest Japanese car industry in history, and it is very practical cars and has the best quality materials among Japanese🇯🇵🗾 cars. ❤
My thoughts exactly. There’s so many great used cars out there for that much. Lexus, Acura, Mercedes, Volvo, BMW etc. that have way more features, way more refined and have already taken the depreciation hit. This thing will depreciate like a piano falling off a cliff.
Hold that thought. You won't be getting in any of those Brands at this price point! Given, $34k seems high for this Mitsu, but it is an SEL Touring Edition. Most would fall below $30k, well equipped. Now what was that about your Acura, BMW, Lexus, Infinity, etc. LoL
@@bruschmidt9943 I don't understand why that guy pointed out luxury brands and I have less of a clue why you're defending this piece of crap car. It's the worst vehicle in the class by far. You can get a base Mazda CX5 with a significantly better interior, engine, transmission, and exterior looks, basically a better package all around, for $25k starting. $34k is $1k shy of the Grand Touring Reserve with an even better interior and the 2.5T. The same applies to the RAV4, CRV, new Rogue, etc. This piece of crap has the cheapest interior on the planet paired with a crappy 1.5L NA and a CVT 🤢.

Interior looks good? It's so disgusting and outdated by 10 bloody years

If they didn’t call it an eclipse I’d be more ok with it. The 15 outlander sports are actually fresh looking IMO. Ma had one.

I didn’t even know Mitsubishi was still in business
They’ve downsized their car division in America quite a bit, but overseas they’re thriving especially the electronic and appliance divisions in Japan.

Old eclipse:
_- Look how they massacred my boy_
Last time I was this early the eclipse was still a coupe
😍
У моего папи такой-же
Now, I haven't seen a Mitsubishi of any kind recently. Are they still selling vehicles?
Yes, but only 3 models in the US.. The Outlander, the Eclipse Cross, and the Mirage. (There is 2 versions of the Mirage so I guess that makes 4)
@@weirdkidmason4486there’s 2 versions of the outlander

El eclipse deportivo era el auto de mis sueños en mi infancia. Ahora me siento totalmente estafada con ese diseño de auto
mitsubishi,xpander
I personally prefer the Mercedes gla for just 4k more
Mitsubishi,xpande
It kinda looks like the Renault scenic 4
$34k? No thanks. I'd rather get the Kia Seltos with the 1.6 turbo, quicker and more for your money
Outside 🤮
Inside: 😀
True But How Much HP
shit 152hp for 34k?
should've been around 20k
At the very least the interior could have been more “tomorrow’s tech”
2008 called, they want their car back.
$34,000 for this thing is a total scam. Might as well burn money.

I can tell the traction when turning is not that great. Because the tires are having trouble gripping on the road.
New cars use retreaded tires. I’d say that could be fixed by tearing off the stock tires and throwing on some Michelins

I think Mitsubishi should stick to electronics and appliances nowadays instead of vehicles.

too bad the driving position is similar to sitting on the toilet.
