I went from American made vehicles from 93 Ford Explorer, 99 Jimmy, 03 S-10, 08 Town & Country to a 2015 SV AWD & absolutely love it. I change the CVT fluid every 40,000, I'm 6'5 & 380lbs and fit perfectly inside, and have ample room in the back seat for passengers without moving my seat. It is great in the snow and rain. The windshield is huge and can see so much! I average 24-36mpg. I really love the Rogue and has been a great vehicle thus far in the Metro Detroit traffic & weather! Great video. I'm gonna get another one.
Rented this car for 10 days. The steering is incredibly light and loose, not what I was used to. I do however like the fact it consistently stayed under 3,000 RPM. Engine wasn’t as noisy as in this video, and worked just fine! Definitely not a vehicle I’d buy, but not as horrible as it looks.
Having driven many of these, they aren't as bad as people say they are. The Rogue is great for just daily driving around town etc. Sure CVTs aren't great, but they aren't terrible unless your flooring it from every light. We own a 2010 Rogue SL with 200,000 miles and the CVT still works fine.
