Cb isn’t the problem it’s the run that’s killing us. Why take a corner before a linebacker or a Dt if we can’t stop the run
2nd round looks like the best place to draft a linebacker. There not really any deserving of 1st round pick. Id go corner or wide receiver first round

Little do we forget that Agent “0” Demarvion Overshown was balling before he tore his ACL as well. I say we resign Gilly, get some OL/DL help & move Micah around not just keep him at DE. Go grab some LB help as well as a WR.

We need an MLB or OL
If you haven’t noticed the Cowboys biggest weakness isn’t there are interior defense of line it’s the outside containment, which is usually the linebackers and safeties they have been atrocious honestly against the Packers. They were doing a pretty good job stopping the run for the first half it was the explosive place they were getting and destroying our safeties /linebackers Jayron, Kearse, and Donovan. Wilson were so fucking awful in this game. If I were to get one player, I would like us to get in free agency Isaiah Simmons, so we can play linebacker and we can move bell back to safety, and he could play linebacker in dime situations if we actually look at it yeah no one particularly played great on the defensive line, but DeMarcus Lawrence was getting stops. They weren’t getting gassed in the inside they were getting destroyed on outside runs.
I think Dallas' best bet is to work their magic pre-draft to get some extra picks, and even trade down in the 1st so they can really swoop up the value players on Day 2 & the top of Day 3. I doubt DeJean will be there at 24 unless he tests horribly, so I'd go for Lassiter on Day 2 if I were them

Cooper dejean would be a steal honestly, if he’s there, take him take the best player this team draft better when they pick the best players not what they need Plus this guy complain multiple positions. He can be your nickel corner, your outside corner shit he can play safety and he is a good returner. This guy has a lot of value and can really help a secondary in the run game he’s like Jordan Lewis tackling and physicality in the run game, but way better at coverage and has more than instincts, in zone
I want DL, LB and OL (C and LT) primarily, RB, WR and then DB next
We need a Mike or build up the OL. Since this is a strong draft for OL we should be able to get someone great even at 24.

As much as I love my ballhawks and cbs being my former position, we need to beef up the interior being d line and linebacker. whoever has a chance to be most ELITE and effective as a rookie at DT of LB and that's just first round we need to spend 2 of our top 3-4 picks on Defense with our round 1 pick being defense

Our Dline getting bullied and pur front-7 getting manhandled by physical offenses and very good to great offensive schemes was more of the issues than our corners
Shoring up the interior and LB upgrades will.auromarucally allow our corners to play freer and even more aggressive

guys y’all gotta remember this draft isn’t really that good for linebackers we have a good amount of linebackers that are coming back off the injury. Obviously they should draft one in the later rounds but let’s be real. We should take the best available player and if it happens to be a DB so be it let’s not draft off a need. We need to draft the best available players because we’ve seen what it looks like when we draft off of need instead of taking the best players we ended up taking Schoonmaker because they thought they needed a tightend 8:10 even though there’s plenty of other good players so let the Cowboys actually draft instead of picking for needed preferably I would like oline and wr premium positions

Kamari Lassiter and he looks like a good cornerback that the Dallas Cowboys could probably take a look at.
People are poking too many holes into it all. Honestly, the roster is not far from actually contending. While the offense rolled, it couldn't go consistently from behind because it was always essentially one dimensional. A new RB room is needed, with how cool the RB market is. You can get a really good veteran talent for cheap.
Next up they need to splurge on pure LB or two in free agency. There are 5 really good options on opposite scales of age, yet similar talent. Bobby Wagner yet again available after yet another good to great season, Lavonte David in the same boat.
You COULD hope for a second year jump from Mazi. Or you could Resign Hankins and another intriguing talent NT in Dj Reader. Who outside of his injuries has always had a great run blocking grade.
When it comes to corner, you probably are priced out of the Gilmore contract considering the more glaring holes on the defense I've touched on. Jourdan Lewis will probably be cheaper and looks to have bounced back from that injury. You still though have to draft or sign another CB, as this team has learned two straight seasons you cannot hope for a player to immediately bounce back from terrible injuries. While I believe Diggs will be good in the long run, you need insurance.
As for the OL, I really doubt you are priced out of Tyron Smith, yet I also believe you use that 1st rounder on OL. This team is scary good at scouting 1st round OLmen.
They need LINEBACKERS, INSIDE AND EDGE LINEMAN PLUS SAFETY HELP

Tbh, we need another cb. If Gilmore gets cut then who will help us out? Daron Bland and Diggs? Anyone of these guys in this video will help us massive. But on offense. I think we should draft another wr because, ceedee is carrying the offense with reviving yards, who will help him out. The answer is 3 prospects. We could get Keon Coleman, who has massive body control and makes big plays. We could get Adonai Mitchell who is fast and has good body control. Or we could get someone else that could help. Maybe like Xavier Worthy. Xavier Worthy is a perfect fit in my opinion. Take care of the cb and wr situation then draft the things we need the most.
WR is not a need at all. I am sorry but any defensive position or O line is much more needed. We dont run the right scheme to invest that heavily in WR. Our run blocking O line is horrendus, In per efficiency per run we are like 28th in the league. We need and probably will take tackle with the first pick.
Dallas better beef up that front at both DT and DE to stop the run. They also need to get multiple LB's in this draft. We have bigger needs on D well before we start talking about CB.

Also diggs doesn’t struggle in the run I’d say he’s really good in the run considering his size. I think you’re a great channel but your Cb takes are questionable.
LB is more important cause Bell and Clark are too small, Parsons need to play more LB, Overshown will come back and probably starts, Bland is a nickel corner that’s where he is best so if Gilmore doesn’t come back then draft a Corner early

Bland can play inside or outside and we have to remember this was his first yr outside. I'm all for BPA but if its close im going O.L. D.L. L.B. we simply have to get better in the trenches starters and depth our front 7 gets shredded by any team that can run the ball. No doubt we can use some depth and possibly a starter depending on if Lewis is coming back. It never hurts to take a C.B. just not the need of O.L. D.L. L.B IMO

Cooper isn’t a corner and probably won’t be a good safety. They did this same thing with Riley moss who arguably looked better. I’d legitimately take him off your boards at least for the first 3 rounds.

Here’s the fact keep Gilmore, diggs, and bland… with hooker, Wilson and Lester back at safeties… automatically best cb and safety room in the league… and have Lewis as a backup…. We need a lb and put Micah on line backer more often d line is still good without him…. My issue is beside lamb and diggs we don’t use our rookies… which when you draft where we typically do it’s not plug and play starters most times… which I why I think we need to trade up and get an actual plug and play starter linebacker or OL

You guys have a coach issue, LB issue, qb issue, owner issue, run block issue, RB issue, damn you guys have way too many issues, cowboys are a team that don’t take any risks when the writing is on the wall which is why they’re always in the same situation. The niners with a 1 1/2 year qb has made it to the SB before Dak.
CB is the last position we need to fix. And in the pro game, CB tackling is not a priority. Give me an o-lineman at 24, and a LB that can tackle at 56.
