You won't believe me if I say I grew up in Iran and we were watching this TV production because it was modest and safe enough for the super religious regime.
Anyways, I am sure if one go through TV channels today, they will find a 1000 times rerun of this series.
It always fascinated me that how my family dynamic were that close to what we watched on this series.

I used to watch Avonlea with my sister when I was a Young kid at The Disney Chanel One of my favorite programs on TV
My wife and I just finished the last Ep of season 7, and the Christmas video. Now that we have finished the series, there is an empty spot in my heart. We love this series so much!! We would sit down in the evenings on the weekend and watch the videos. Contrary to what Mr. Sullivan said about wrapping up at season 7, people who have watched this entire series want more. What all the kids do in the future? We thoroughly enjoyed ALL the series - Anne of Green Gables, Wind at my Back, and of coarse Avonlea!!

I bought all the series I’m 65 and last September ever heard of y’all at my sisters ! I got started watching hers! So came home and ordered ! I have laughed my head off cried!! Just great and was sad when I finished!!❤❤❤

I love this show and have it all on DVD and watch it all the time I grow up in the 80`s and Road to Avonlea was one of the best shows on tv at the time and now that I am in my 40`s I now own a little peace of P.E.I. and it is the best place in the world to me I love it I now have my little peace of Avonlea 🙂

I remember when me and my family would watch Avonlea every sunday on disney channel and I remember when i was a kid there was some really good shows on. but now there like not very much good tv shows on that much any more on tv. I remember when i was in the mountains in New mexico at a autism camp and I remember a avonlea show in season 2 with Jasper studdering and because of my disability of autism Jasper i think was my favorite.
