i've been playing with creating a bloodline that revolves around blood magic (usually their own form of necromancy but occasionally their own equivalent of thaumaturgy), animalism and presence. Their whole shtick is basically ancient greek sorcerors. the greek branch are known for their familiars in the form of Black dogs. it is said this bloodline and their companions are as one. They worship the goddess Hecate, and believe she created them to protect all wanderers, gates and black hounds. There used to be other branches but the only surviving one is an Irish one who use ravens instead. They follow one of the Three Morrigans. Morrigan, Babd or Macha. Depending on whom they follow their disciplines change. By the way who they follow is contigent on their first dream that they receive as their embrace changes them. where of the three will choose them. the Dream is often described as the Goddess arguing with herself as she judges as to who they would be most useful for. I still need to balance the bloodline (and name them) but I hope at least my idea inspires someone.
@@jordanetherington1922they definitely need work, but I made them because I love ancient descriptions of magic. It's just very weird. and i'm trying to get that in this bloodline.
Just responding to the beginning few minutes, but true lol Salubri is difficult to call a Clan (since Tremere usurped them via diablerie) and more of a Bloodline due to how few of them they are (though, depends if 5th edition keeps Saulot taking Tremere's body or not as Saulot was very important to the Metaplot in the older editions, and I still need to read 5th edition's lore to see what's in the books). Though, I do like that they made Salubri a Clan, but I wish they incorporated the Bloodlines better as Hecata is really the only one that seems to have brought attention to them. And time to watch the rest of the video!
It would make a fair deal of sense for the Draugr to have some sort of blood sorcery. Maybe even recreate the good ol' fashioned Koldunic Sorcery for them. Draugr were capable of weather manipulation. On an interesting note an Icelandic Draug by the name of Glamsýni would probably be a Maeghar Draugr. Glamsýni of the Grettis saga was, by VtM logic, very recently embraced when he encountered Grettir. Glamsýni had the typical Draug traits. He was a corpse and very strong. However, when he died the last thing he did was curse Grettir. With his final breath he cursed Grettir to never again grow stronger. He cursed him to with rage spoil his victories. Finally he cursed him to never be restful in sleep, as the eyes of Glamsýni would follow him in the shadows forever. His curse was threefold and we know how changelings love their rule of three. He was an Icelander native and a Pagan, killed and made a Draug by another Draug who kill him on behalf of God for the high sin of blasphemy to a priest's face. A Kinain with Troll parentage being a dick to a priest before being killed and embraced by a Draugr, only to come out what would have been known as Kiasyd at the time, would be very fitting. He was super strong, has the appearance of a rotted corpse, and had some manner of magic. His name is a root for the word "glamor". Maeghar gain two of their sire's disciplines and Mytherceria.

Well damn, now I gotta rewrite my campaign... Although, on the subject of homebrew, do look up Clan Błędnica (fully English, despite how it looks). Kind of a twisted mirror image of the Draugr but really flavorfull
Draug or Draugr are spirits from Scandinavian beliefs that guard graves, barrows, and cairns. They possess corpses or empty suits of armor or even just weapons, causing them to float and attack intruders. The Draugr from Skyrim aren't the corpses you fight. Rather, they've possessed corpses around the tombs you find and you can't actually get rid of them. In the Witcher 2, you encounter Draugr that have possessed suits of armor, but a curse has redirected their enmity towards people that have wandered onto a former battlefield instead of into a burial ground.
I like the publication of all of Vampire Secrets (tm) idea, it reminds me of Jim Butcher's Black Court vampires getting screwed by Bram Stoker and his book. Absolutely, silk-out-the-butt. Modern trends like blockchain, cryptocurrency, and ai "learning" (leeching) off of the talent of others DOES seem very vampiric in nature, so Phreaks would fit right in to all of that. LOVE changeling vampires. I really like all the overlapping creatures of WoD, and always thought (for example) an Abomination made for a compelling, but tragic character of npc concept. An aspect of WoD I've been surprised was never developed out more was a water-based clan/bloodline. Pirates of the Caribbean-style relentless undead from thousands of years if humanity's naval history, swamp/bog-dwellers, and lake haunters feeding off of sailors, the unluckily stranded, and stupid and/or drunk partiers. I used to use the Samedi for this in old games (desiccating powers), but its always felt like a missed opportunity publication-wise.
There's something to homebrew that's always a bit more tasty than vanilla material. Congrats on the boyfriend, not sure if that was mentioned before but I think it's the first time we heard of that. Sorry about the grandma.
Question about the Iron Core power: if the vampire can become Impaired but still not convert superficial damage to aggravated, does that mean they just don't take any damage while Impaired? If so, this power would make them totally invincible as long as they can keep the power active.

Oh look, a 1 hour Bugerkrieg video about vampires to listen to whilst I work on the newest addition to my vampire themed Minecraft castle.
Metatron was able to cover the last addition.
Who's next?
Curupira mentioned, therefore I am immensely happy :D
the leshy really makes me think of the Lhiannan. (Just without the soul breaking to have kids)
Kuddos for the symbols from the card game.
Gonna steal these for my v20 game (and maybe for some w20 stuff too) hehehehehe (but, seriously, great video!)
I like the Witcher music during the Leshy section, very nice touch
I look forward into adding these clans into my ongoing San Diego By Night chronicle!
Awesome content, nothing more to add 🤯
i wonder if you plan on ever doing a demon the fallen video (i am one of the seven Demon the Fallen fans in existence)
If there is 7 of you (one for each choir of angels) then I assume there there would be exactly 0 fans of Demon:The Descent?
I cannot tell you how hard I lost it when I heard Burger say "These are iPad kids"
I cannot understand why you haven't broken 100k subs yet.
...I want to see a "buddy cop" team between a Phreek and a Glass Walker. SOMEONE GET ON THIS
Clan Chocula with their Breakfast Focused Disciplines.
A bloodline of the Clan Malkavian. Although I assume that they could believe themselves to be the original clan and other Malkavians a bloodline just like Bruja-True Bruja and Cappadocians-Giovanni.
Bless you, Krieger. Thx for the vid and be fine, I'm really would like you being fine
I wanna make Mage the Ascension crafts because of this video
Although I'm more of a v20 fanboy this all look very interesting! -If only I had friends to play with- I would love to play around with them.
A little heads up: the timestamp for the Draugr bloodline has an extra : messing the chapters. Otherwise great stuff! Keep up the good work :D
Looking for players too! Do you do digital?
@@salazasauceproductions5100 Oh sorry, I didn't meant that I'm looking for players cause sadly my current time schedule is too tight 😭
@@hi-im-huesitos Aw shucks
love your rpg stuff dude
Well damn, now I gotta rewrite my campaign... Although, on the subject of homebrew, do look up Clan Błędnica (fully English, despite how it looks). Kind of a twisted mirror image of the Draugr but really flavorfull
29:40 smoothest insert ever!
That's what she said!
Congrats on your boyfriend!
Also you should really put these on the Storyteller's Vault if you haven't!
im here for this
40:15 Blood Silk!
Can we appreciate a random Burgerkrieg lore drop? (I mean personal lore not vtm lore)
I used to use the Samedi for this in old games (desiccating powers), but its always felt like a missed opportunity publication-wise.
im thinkin about using a leshy vampire as a hunter the reckoning quarry
There's something to homebrew that's always a bit more tasty than vanilla material.
Congrats on the boyfriend, not sure if that was mentioned before but I think it's the first time we heard of that. Sorry about the grandma.
Question about the Iron Core power: if the vampire can become Impaired but still not convert superficial damage to aggravated, does that mean they just don't take any damage while Impaired? If so, this power would make them totally invincible as long as they can keep the power active.
When you said “Pattern Spiders” I thought you said “Patent” spiders. That that was funny.
are you ever gonna do a video on the crafts/unaffiliated mages and the essence extremist mages (marauders, threat null, nephandi)
I'm deeply hurt to finish the Leshy part and not hear a single mention of my favorite tree vampires: Lhiannan. You think the Ministry are a blood cult? At least they don't have a discipline ENTIRELY dependant of human sacrifices. Playing one of those in DA is wild, i tell ya
Salubri are a clan. Was in the ancient times, is now just the SIZE of a bloodline.
Love the content Burger!
... Shit, how would you GET the Salubri included in your idea of Lore in BurgerWoD?
Damn it Burger, the city is pronounced New "Or-Lense" the Parish is "Or-leans" the street in the city is "Or-leans" but God damnit on my momma the city is pronounced Or-lense.
Keep up the superb work.
His hair gets longer and flowier by the upload!
YES!!! THIS IS HPW WOD WAS INTENDED!!! FUCKTHESHITTYWRITTENLORE!!!
57:23 Malkavian T.O.T.V sound like it would be so much fun :D
Of course you put on Witcher music while explaining the Leshy lore lol
Aranae my beloved.
no love for the Jiangshi? Pity
But Burger, the Salubri are in the clans video. Every time you mention the Tremere... 😉😁
I have a homebrew Bloodline, the Vaerminus who are infused with an insect swarm during their Embrace which eats them from the inside out and becomes one with them. (Inspired by the daughters Dimitrescu). Anyway, I can absolutely Arrange vampires mistaking a Spider Vaerminus as one of their own, for some amusing hijinks.
Fantastic thank you
