    • @8AMG
      @8AMG Месяц назад +1

      Are you forgetting what day it is multiple times a day?

    • @tarichar8
      @tarichar8 Месяц назад

      @@8AMG yep. I have to write notes, maybe 50-100 notes, and I have a bunch of other stuff always going on, and everything needs my signature and a date. I have a habit of looking at my watch for that. I could use my phone but half the time it is not on me. It’s just convenience for me. I do have several no date watches that I sometimes wear on the weekends, but in general, I won’t buy no date watches anymore.

  • @lordcharfield
    @lordcharfield Месяц назад +1

    Beautiful, really beautiful but not significantly different enough from my amazing Atoll 300 (Reef Blue) to buy one and I am in the market for a watch for my big birthday. Please remember your customer base (I’m definitely a CW fanboy) when deciding upon your pricing strategy- we’re now in Oris/Longines land. I would like to see the plain white sand Dune with a COSC certification and a consort bracelet.

  • @davidmckeown6874
    @davidmckeown6874 Месяц назад +2

    I do like the watch and has my attention. Don’t really need titanium. Most don’t really need 300m and helium escape valve. Make this 39mm with same movement in brushed steel, 200m/300m, 20mm lugs and reduce price accordingly. Personally would like a 6 o’clock date but can live without. Would sell like hot cakes CW 👍

  • @fepatton
    @fepatton Месяц назад

    Lovely! The orange dial really appeals to me. I purchased my first Christopher Ward a few months ago, a Bel Canto in purple. It’s stunning. The workmanship and design are excellent and it has exceeded all my expectations.

    • @TheNimbleNomad
      @TheNimbleNomad Месяц назад

      Hello - I was wondering do you feel the watch is worth its value? These have started getting quite expensive.. when comparing to brands like Tudor.

    • @fepatton
      @fepatton Месяц назад

      @@TheNimbleNomad If I were choosing between this and a Pelagos, I’m pretty sure _I_ would go for the CW. (An orange dial one is sitting in my shopping cart now, in fact. 😂)
      I also own a Tudor BB GMT, which I love, so I don’t think I’m biased either way. I think both Tudor and CW offer excellent value, but in different ways.
      The Tudor has an in-house movement compared to CW’s Sellita, which though a great movement, isn’t in-house. Tudor also has a long heritage. But for me the CW wins here with a thickness 2mm less (!) than the Tudor Pelagos plus the unique hands and markers which I think are stunning. Both brands do a great job with the case polishing.
      If this were a GMT it might be a different story, as I prefer the Tudor’s GMT functionality (with the independent hour hand) to the Sellita GMT’s. But this is a diver style watch, so that’s not an issue. Good luck!

    Absolutely brilliant…literally! I actually think you listened to my comments in a survey-41mm titanium diver-perfection!! The innovation at CW is simply amazing and this watch blows the Seamaster and Pelagos out of the water…again literally! Honestly, for this watch’s intended purpose you have knocked it out of the park. 100% tool watch, 100% innovative, 100% contemporary, and gorgeous. Love the use of the Sellita 300 for slimness AND that it is chronometer certified. And, you read my mind with the bezel insert by eliminating the 15 second hash marks for a well balanced aesthetic. Every consideration is applauded-not one complaint…because for this watch and what it aims to be CW did it right. 🙌 🙏🏼

      @@fernandoleon9678 Maybe. I think if CW had these Metas tested they would exceed expectations. However, maybe they should have gone with quartz to completely blow Omega’s bloated dive watches out of the water…takes care of all the Metas movement tests and they would be even thinner than with that lovely Sellita 300.

    Nice, except for the gimmicky helium release valve.
    By now , noone is fooled and know there's no helium in h2o, no matter how deep you go.
    Helium only gets inside if you are one of a handful of people that work as a saturation diver, living (above the water) in a self-contained helium-enriched vessel (particles are tiny and can pass seals).
    For CW customers, in reality, just an unwanted case perforation, best avoided

    I see CW has discovered Lumicast. They're a little late to the party. I just received my Zelos Thresher Worldtimer with the mother of pearl dial, and it has Lumicast numerals and enough BGW9 to light up a room at night. And the best part it was only $649. Way cheaper than the CW C60. I have the C60 Atoll Shark White from CW and it's a looker I must say. But the sad reality is that I will NEVER give CW anymore of my money. Their customer service is just horrible when something goes wrong like it did in my case on that C60 Atoll. As a business that only sells online you would think that their customer service would be top notch with the right people in the right positions that suit them, but CW is not that at all. A company to me isn't about the products they carry or sell, but all about the experience and customer service. You can have an amazing product, but if customer service is not up to par then its makes the product worthless!
