I get really excited every time I see your Titan videos, but the first one is the best. My friend and I also added a buffer floor to make the house seem taller, we use it every time we play duo-trio. And building up the first floor completely without a closet is divine, several times the enemy has walked away empty-handed when the loot was on the 3rd floor. Anyway, I like this 2v2 in the first edition. Thanks for it. I apologize for the translation due to my poor knowledge of English and the use of a translator. 😮💨🤝
one tip when placing the roof turrets inside the vending room if you close the garage door and get up against it with your back you can place the turret as far "out" as possible making it see more of the roof
this comment is not a complaint about it no longer being 3 walls to core, but rather a question on why. Loading this into BS, it's quite easy to replace the double door frames with the normal walls and put it back to being a 3 wall base, without losing any mobility, shooting angles, etc. The only angle I see lost is on the roof shooting straight down. But if you're getting raided through those walls, it'll be opened up anyways, and become accessible for shooting again. Just curious what the thought it behind keeping that area open instead of walled off, like in the original base. Edit: Also I noticed this was missing the last floor right before roof. I'm really interested in the types of wipes you had which led you to the changes. Its really interesting to get some insight into your build process and thinking.
I had the same thoughts. I still use a custom variation of the first Titan design because of this and add an extra floor for more space and loot spreadability.
Thank you for asking! The thought process behind this base was making it as cheap as possible. Like I said in the tour, I designed it for myself as a solo player. Removing those side walls really cut a lot of cost, and I relied heavily on hiding and spreading out loot throughout the entire base. I think anyone who has built some bases before, or at least an older Titan, will replace those frames with walls to get more protection for an increased cost if needed. Now, regarding the combined shooting/roof floor, it was also done to reduce the cost. If you have turrets, you really don’t need an enclosed shooting floor, especially when you have four enclosed shooting pods around the base with great angles for defending it. That’s the thought process behind this base: fast and cheap to build, easy to defend, and easy to move to another location if needed.
@@FadedRust. I really appreciate all the thought process into this. And you are absolutely correct. Adding back those walls was the first thing I did. I’ll work on the shooting floor next. This base fixed a lot of the issues I had with the OG Titan. That said, I haven’t played a wipe with the X yet. So the OG Titan is still my go to base. It has served us well. We’ve defended 25 raids in that thing and only lost once. And the loss was because we didn’t have SAMs and they got the luckiest strike I’ve ever seen. All 12 missiles hit the exact same spot. Anyways. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into these bases.
Vending machine bunkers do not work on console they made it and now it has a huge hitbox I don't understand why they patching stuff if it still works on a PC
@@nickaversa5128 yeah I finally got it to work but it's stupid I don't understand why they're patching stuff before PC if pc can do it then we should be able to do it
@@thegamingsquad115 ya I agree. You just gotta think of it as a completely different game I guess. I miss the door option though that made it a 5 C4 raid from the front
I am surprised how often shotgun traps are overlooked. At the very least, they prevent someone from going deep and their use in a raid defence, from killing raiders to simply slowing them down as they deal with each trap, can be wipe saving...
Any plans for making a "larger" base, like a 6-8 man base, with less thought about building costs and more about the raid defense and such and such, like a larger TITAN???
for the console players in the comments on the vendi bunkers that are accessible through compound i swapped them to depo boxes then used the pipes to bring the loot i depo into my base so u don’t have to go back and bring it in especially with the update on the vendi hit boxes i js didn’t feel like messing up my wipe by one faulty screw up so i js swapped it to a depo room.
@@richboii6597 Idk what you're building but as long as you have gdoors you should be clearing 100 rockets offline for duo upkeep without bunkers while maintaining retakes and angles
@@tiltlord9k 100 rockets on a duo aka 15-20k metal upkeep base? What? Lol and why are you acting like garage doors make such a massive difference in raid cost?
How does this base suck? This is a great snowball/pvp base for us players who’d rather spend 90% of our time pvping rather than building and farming just to get offlined. I’m going to let you in on a secret as to why you don’t get onlines… simple looking base + making your presence known thru pvp = online defense. The more complicated and stronger you build the higher your chance of just getting offlined.

That's a really good tip, thank you !
for future information armored doors now cost 5 rockets not 4 to raid thru so upgrade stone walls and frames to metal to make them effective.
give this man a raise
Walski love ur builds

Vending machine bunkers do not work on console they made it and now it has a huge hitbox I don't understand why they patching stuff if it still works on a PC
To get around it you can place the vending machine first like before the side wall. Then add the boxes. Then wall it in
But you can’t put a door in front of it either which sucks

Instead of the oil refinery I used the roof bunker since couldn’t use vendi bunker
Would love to see a compact solo base design using the half wall triangle armored floor bunker. You know what I mean ?
Can u start using the gate bunkers like basso does? Its extra bunkers to any base
this man doesn't miss. also ive been looking for a base with that same starter as the hydra v3 but a bit bigger for a bit of a bigger group any ideas?
I think Crow has some bigger "egg" bases on his channel so you can check out those
I’ve used this base for 4 wipes I’ve won every online against the tawain zergs
OUUU new base I’m back into rust
Make this base but with a nice bunker and more honeycomb on the bunker
W pvper heaven
Lol this is gonna be my new main with some tweaks ofc
Would love to see a bumper core
I'd like to use this on console but recent update messed up vendi hit boxes
NICE BASE DESIGN but its easier to offline but better defense than before i will build x next wipe
is external tc required ? and ı think tarrets on roof shouldnt behind the doors
Bro you sound EXACTLY like nizar GG
really nice, but, can you do a solo not with 10r stone upkeep please?
10k stone is 10 nodes u got this man
Another goat in the books
What are these plants with flowers on walls?

please solo bunker baseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Not that good for now day rust everyone just offlines
So what base is safe? Exactly… nothing. Pick something that suits your play style until you annoy someone willing to stay up later than you
Nothing is good for offlines. It’s been like that for a long time. This is a perfect base for pvp tho.
4 bunkers and a core for splite loot is not good for offline?😅
