It's mid-winter but we went out to collect seashells.

One day, when I was visiting a beach with a friend, I found a lot of small shells on the sand. When I mentioned it to my wife, she said she wanted to go shell-picking, so we decided to go on our next day off together. Amachan was excited to be at the beach for the first time since summer. Apparently, beachcombing is the act of collecting washed-up items such as shells, driftwood, and sea glass on the beach and enjoying observing them. Beachcombing can be fun because you can unexpectedly find treasure, but you should be careful because collecting washed-up items is prohibited in national and quasi-national parks.
