      Can buy a solar panel for the 3rd version

    • @legalize420
      @legalize420 7 месяцев назад +6

      Not if you know how to do it. Attach the cord to the nearby wall and hide it and leave it plugged into curtain. Then just simply plug the other end into an outlet when needed. Hide when not needed. Not that hard or annoying. You should be doing this with all your cords anyways. Be organized, people.

      You could probably even wire it into an existing circuit and just ditch the battery function. That's a big fat maybe though.

      Nope. The new one has a solar panel. Also, no more annoying than charging everything else people charge on a daily basis.

      You don't live in a house that is large enough or has windows large enough to make these worth their while. It's okay. Life Goals. I find these incredibly useful.

      I would appreciate your opinion. When you live in a house as large as mine, with windows as large as mine, these become incredibly useful and time saving. You just sound jealous.

    Lazyness at its finest. Its faster to close it by hand

    • @gilernt
      @gilernt 10 месяцев назад

      true, but in some cases i think it's fair (ignoring the poor quality of this device). for example, im trying to design a better remote control whole curtain system for a hole in my wall thats 8 feet off the ground so closing them by hand is not an option really

    • @hinachaudhary8714

      These are good for double height ceilings

    • @jaydouglas8845
      @jaydouglas8845 3 месяца назад

      Speed is not the point. This one flew right over your head. You put more effort into your comment than actually thinking about the practical use of this device and who might find it helpful. Maybe, maybe one day you will have a home where these make sense. A significant portion of one side of my house is nothing but large windows, almost like a car dealership, that provides a panoramic view of the back porch, pool, and yard. This device (the SwitchBot 3 actually), is incredibly useful and faster than me running around trying to pull back and tie off 8 giant curtains from the windows.
