i felt very far away from god, the past few weeks... so, listening to this song, opened my eyes once again, that i am nothing without god. I don’t know if this was meant in the song by putting in the sound at the end with the waves, but to me it very much felt like going “underwater” is at the end of one’s life and the sound of the waves receding, finally arriving Home with Him. After everything, together with Him. The image I get is very much like a reaching-Narnia-finally after a long time waiting. Anyway, blessed song! This whole album is beautiful.

Guys! Guys! Guys! That part from 3:23 omg omg omg it is a masterpiece. You captured so much in those few minutes than many thousand modern Christians songs! It reminded me of my baptism years ago, where I could hear the crowd, the world, the people around me, the noise but also the voice of God, guiding me, leading me, getting stronger. Then at one point I was merged into the water being embrace by the creator, where I couldn't hear anything but his heartbeat, his presence within me. Once I came out of the water the noise, the crowd were gone. It felt like everything was reset and I started a new life with a new beginning ❤ that feeling, that memory just happened hours ago while I was watching the video for the first time. I cried.

Is it strange that 4:49 onwards is my favourite part of this video? Since I first heard it in September on my way back to uni, the "underwater" part always had a special place in my heart. I had many fears and doubts going into my final year, but when I heard the waves crash over and it was like I was submerged in water, I felt the peace of God flood over me. So, seeing that moment visually was very special for me 💙 Thank you guys for what you do - using your creative gifts for God's glory! Lots of love 😊

Same bro same! Whenever I go surfing or in the ocean in general I think of that section of the song and it’s deeper meaning. R&R’s music presents their music with a wonderful connection to creation. Psalm 19:1 comes to the mind many times, “The heavens [and earth] declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” Also love the inclusion of Psalm 24:1-2 at the end of the video, “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it on the seas and established it on the waters.” Feels fitting for the video, especially the waves and water.

As much as I want Rivers and Robots to hit mainstream, as they should, their music is so intimate to me it is as if it's just God and I talking. I like to revel in this secret and quiet conversation. 'Discovery' is their best album to date for me the songs are literally prayers to our mighty God! Dreams, Satisfy, Burn for You are my standouts!

I am in awe of these beautiful, beautiful pictures of heavens and earth. God of Israel is so great and faithful. He is amazing. When the scene of underwater came up, to me it was like when I am drown in the darkness, I still hear His voice, and have faith in Him that He will lift me up. Then the Light comes.

I very much appreciate this. Multiple art mediums, all executed with thought and care. And there is something really special about the end where the waves come into play and the music playing with the underwater sound. But its important to remember that The letter of the law is done away with . not the spirit of it , the natural interpretation of the law will fall in line if we go by the spirit :) so we got to understand it spiritually in order to actually apply it and not be like the Pharisees taking everything literal . I pray that the Lord gives whoever reads this eyes to see, ears to hear, and a heart to perceive!!! And the Lord begins to open your understanding to the hidden manna! What if this is what God's love looked like? Powerful, overwhelming, and gentle all at once, washing over you with an inexplicable peace. Your breath feels smoother in it and your soul echoes joy in the expanse, and as you surface you bathe in his light with only praise in your heart.

The repetitive refrain at the musical interlude portion reminds me of the seasons of life..seemingly repetitive and mundane, and tinged with angst, nostalgia and hope...then we die (the muffled portion) and then resurrect to something entirely new.
