Another good one, if you are on a ramp and someone is waiting for you to peak so they can shoot you, just build another ramp up but don't run onto it, hold an edit to flip the ramp, and you can look between the two ramps to line up a shot as you flip the top ramp and break it.
A tip to everyone using the ramp phase, first get a ramp in your opponents box, because it also places a ramp on your side, your opponent, won't think that you're going for the ramp phase technique.

I would say the trick that most helps me is rotating smart and utilizing the crouch button so I can be the first one to initiate the fight and do damage. As far as mechanics edits are pretty good just not consistent enough yet.

I have double binds on controller and have gotten good enough at resetting the build that it flashes blue when I edit and resets. I rely on this simple resetting speed to confuse opponents. It literally doesn’t show the edited piece it just flashes to indicate that it has been edited and reseted, lots of practice goes into this and I’ve made my own drill course for it.
The edit reset trick can work on the same opponent but you have to change the time between edits. The first time I would reset it immediately after editing and they would break it. After a few times u do slower and slower until you can literally edit and shoot them but they will be waiting for reset. Mind Games.

when someone sprays me, i let him lose 10 bullets and let him believe that i will keep building so he doesnt spray me anymore, he sprays anywhere on the wall, and then i stop building and i start spraying too which is something they dont expect and i get 2-3 shots on them
