1st 240 is not needed and even a budget 500$ PC can run 144fps, plus 144monitors are getting very very cheap
2nd you don't need the best peripherals to be good. Sure they may help you but they are not what makes you a good player
3. And now with the coin flip mechanic, you don't need that good ping. 20-30 is just fine. Unless you live somewhere with absolutely horrendous ping (100-200) then if you put in enough effort you can definitely go prob

@@tasbeerus2784 A keyboard tips ? On some mecanical keyboard you can adjust each key sensibility by remove the key and pinch the two bits of plastic on the side. If you pinch them hard you can slide your finger between keys, it'es good for building. Also you can use a macro software to remap some key you can't natively bind in the game.
Mouse tip : Have a higher sens for Y axis and increase both sens from .01 every day. Sad no sens building on this game.

@@jexterviloria8268 higher = less fatigue and more speed. Try to build with 800 dpi at 0.750 sens few minutes on creative you will understand it very fast. Sadly ad this sens shooting is impossible.

My mindset is definitely the worst when it comes to competitive and even pubs. I always got pissed because I couldn’t edit or build properly but I started quitting. But this dude has a point. You go into a game with a mindset your gonna do better you will. If you die oh well try to figure out what you did wrong. The other good point he said was playing with better people. Tilting and mindset probably holds me back the most. I have bad anger issues but I started to just use my recourses. I am training for amateur boxing as well as pursuing a pro Fortnite career. I just can’t play these cash cups. I got so mad the last time I went to my basement and started hitting the punching bag with my bare hands and I hit it so hard, within three hits I had knocked the bag down and taken a piece of the ceiling with it. (It wasn’t super sturdy) The game didn’t necessarily have a huge impact. It was mostly a bad test grade and I kinda had just woken up on the wrong side of the bed. But it did help me blow some steam. I don’t think I’ve ever been that angry before or after. I had just really been ticked off by something. 🤷🏻♂️

I definatley have the motivation me and my friends got a 30 bomb in arena yesterday and won and we landed stark
The only reason that prevents me from going pro is my garbage internet giving me 80+ ping all the time and some time might fluctuate from 200 to 700 ms...while the opponents I face have 0-20 ping.
