The game seems to have pretty few ability buttons for an MMO Otherwise, it looks quite good. I miss these types of games, reminds me of all the good old-school MMORPGS
There are mobile mmos that have way more abilities. Not saying its necessary but as of right now this doesnt look like it has a lot of depth. Id have to try it myself though. Might feel like moba combat which isnt a bad thing. @CeloZaga
Think it just shows that the actual combat is not engaging enough to keep the player occupied fully. They need to jump just to "push buttons" because combat boils down to hitting the long cooldowns followed by 1 button spam.
Jumping doesn't provide any actual mobility nor dodging mechanics. It's completely useless and distracting. Maybe it's pleasing for those with ADHD, or maybe it's there so that people trick themselves into not realizing they are not having fun (with the inputs at least). Not that you can trigger a dodgeroll/double-jump attack with an input mid-jump, nor bunny-hop with consistent timings on certain input combos either. Not saying that it can't be fun to jump around, but it's the same as crouching. Does an FPS boast increased gameplay value when you have the ability to tea-bag people by spamming crouch? Realistically no, but some people enjoy to do that, and that's fine, but it's an useless mechanic. The most it can do is reduce the recoil a tiny bit. Getting prone should be the standard. Funnily enough, even BDO has a purpose for crouching/prone. Stationary combat is all about strategy in positioning and input decisions (Dragon's Dogma Mage class, zerg-focused MMOs). Action combat is about input-heavy combos, guards, counters and parries (BDO / B&S / TERA). Tarisland/WoW have basically Stationary Combat inputs without the strategy behind it. They have the ability to move while attacking from Action Combat, but without the satisfaction of Action Combat's actual combat mechanics. Not saying Tarisland can't be fun, but its combat and movement mechanics clearly aren't great.
Tab Target + only 8 skills per class ruined this game. Also no blocking skills, no evasion skills, no knockdowns... Remove the Tab Target system from the game and add 20 more skills per class, add block skill for some classes and evasion skills for classes and the game would be very good.

This is same combat systems as old wow but fewer skills cause mobile.
