I love God with all my heart but im literally afraid of converting to Islam because what if its not the true way and i go to hell for it, but im also afraid to stay christian because what if Islam or something else is the true way.

Alhamdulillah, I'm 17, I have tattoos already, I am practicing Muslim faith, I come from a Christian family, sometimes i really regret my tattoos, but I know mistakes are mistakes and when I finally take my shahada, I will be forgiven for the tattoos, it makes me happy to learn about Allah and worship him, the almighty, most merciful and all forgiving. وَ مَاۤ اَرۡسَلۡنَا مِنۡ رَّسُوۡلٍ اِلَّا لِیُطَاعَ بِاِذۡنِ اللّٰہِ ؕ وَ لَوۡ اَنَّہُمۡ اِذۡ ظَّلَمُوۡۤا اَنۡفُسَہُمۡ جَآءُوۡکَ فَاسۡتَغۡفَرُوا اللّٰہَ وَ اسۡتَغۡفَرَ لَہُمُ الرَّسُوۡلُ لَوَجَدُوا اللّٰہَ تَوَّابًا رَّحِیۡمًا ﴿۶۴﴾
And We did not send any messenger except to be obeyed by permission of Allah . And if, when they wronged themselves, they had come to you, [O Muhammad], and asked forgiveness of Allah and the Messenger had asked forgiveness for them, they would have found Allah Accepting of repentance and Merciful.

Not going to lie - as a western revert I worry sometimes about other Muslims seeing my tattoo’s and judging me, but the Qu’ran and Hadith give me peace of mind that Allah Subhannah wa t’ala forgives all and reminds me that I don’t need to worry about 6 billion humans on earth and their judgments - it is only the eyes of Allah Subhannah wa t’ala that I should feel upon me. How beautiful is that? A religion that brings such peace and reassurance. Alhamdullilah I love Islam and I’m proud of the Ummah ❤️
If your intention is to get it removed but can't cause it may be too expensive and you ask Allah forgivness Allah will forgive you🙂

I was born Muslim and got tattoos when I later became an atheist for a decade. Returned to Islam alhamdulillah and no one has judged me for my tattoos except a few elderly people but you can’t change everyone.

Just a reminder to every one watching this. Umrah and hajj is not for clout or for a RUclips short or instagram picture. There’s pillars in wudu, pillars in salah, 5 pillars in Islam, and so on. There’s pillars in Umrah, this violates or removes your reward. It’s not permissible to record yourself and take pictures while you’re in a state of worship, not only do you not get a good deed, you get a BAD deed added. If you pray you get a good deed, if you don’t pray, you get a bad deed (major sin). Umrah is suppose to be a time of reflection and *seclusion*, not IG posts, etc. This is called “Riyyah”, which is to display or show off your good deeds. Not only is Riyyah a sin, it’s also a major sin, and worst of all, it’s SHIRK.
Riyyah is the minor shirk, not the major shirk (associating partners with God). Minor shirk doesn’t remove one from the fold of Islam but it’s still one of the worst sins you can commit, however major Shirk removes one from the fold of Islam.
Why is it Shirk to show off, doesn’t makes sense? Riyyah is a minor Shirk because instead of doing a action of worship which main purpose is to please Allah and doing it for the sake of Allah (which is what worship is), you’re now doing your worship or Ibadah for the sake of others than Allah. So picking up that Quran and telling someone “quick take a photo of me holding this Quran”, this is Riyyah, reciting Quran while recording yourself on a busy street, Riyyah. Recording yourself praying for the internet or in front of people, Riyyah. The list goes on. Anything that you do in the religion, for the sake of others than Allah, is now doing worship NOT for Allah, but for so and so.

Don't worry, you can remove the tattoo if you can, but you don't need to if the process can hurt yourself. The important thing is to have faith in Allah, Allah is most forgiving
