a little tip for those of you who are playing this game for the first time. the money trucks that you can rob appear after completing Tonya's Pulling Favors mission. I hope this helps.
I thought you could only open them with explosives. As I just started the game over and found a van early game before getting any kind of boom booms, I found this video very useful.
I started doing this in GTA-4 a few years ago and if you did it correctly you could get away scott-free nearly every time and without dying. Even when the armored truck would explode and the cash would go everywhere I never had any problem picking it up before it timed out so long as you *RUN* while picking it up and don't have cops shooting at you, not to mention some random asshole running you over in the process or some Dudley-Do-Right citizen that tries to stop you. That really pisses me off when that happens...

Thank You again Unknown Player! What I use to help me be more successful at robbing the security trucks is practice your stealth (sneaking around and sneaking up on people) and invest / buy suppressors for your weapon of choice! I like to go into sneak mode with Franklin and snipe from a distance with the Marksman Rifle / shoot 2 tires on the truck then take out the 2 guys (headshots if presented), then run up and clean up the job with the Suppressed Pistol (shooting directly between the doors of the security / armored truck just like Unknown Player shows and advises! Get an extra few thousand dollars cash money!
As many times as you like, you just need to wait a while in between robberies and they are "random" events so a truck wont spawn every time you go to its location.
so for all the people saying it's a fake video or it doesn't work I drove to the first location waited, then drove around the area biught the bar down the street and when I was on my way back to the original spot the indicator popped up on the map so this does work
I was actually driving around Los Santos and by mere chance I found one of those trucks but it had no money and neither was the blue dot on the map that usually appears. I found this “money-less” truck right outside the boardwalk of Del Perro Pier and YOU COULD ACTUALLY HIJACK it so I just took it to my house. Now there’s just a Gruppe truck in my driveway.
I know it Is late but you can store it in Michael's home garage AND un trevor's safe house besides vanilla unicorn. If you throw a granade it Will Explode AND you Will get the Money. It doesn't worth it because you get about 200$ 😞
You can also after you rob the truck get in and drive it and do a quick save then reload the game. You'll still have the truck. And what I do is drive it to the train tracks near Franklin's impound and have the train destroy the truck and get the scattered money.
Yesterday February 4 I was playing with my friends on a invite only section whem the sothen I reseived a call from Lester that I havent rob any money from those heavy trucks. After he calling me there were a lot of cargo trucks every where spawning. This was super crazy we collected like a million in 1 hour.
I did the tow truck mission and drove to the mark north on the map at the liquor store but i saw no money transport car, i drove around the block 3 times.
Can u make a video where u go to all these places and get get into the vans? it would be a whole lot easier because the city locations are confusing as hell.
You don't need money throughout the game. Just spend it on upgrading your default automobiles and on your favourite gun/ammo. You'll have more than enough for that just from playing the regular missions. Only do the first assassination mission because the story requires it. Save the last 4 (missions marked with the big L) for after your big heist and everyone has 30 million. Then do the assassination missions 4 times almost doubling your money each time. What more do you need????

The easiest and most simple way for me is to put a vehicle in front of the truck in order to block its way, shoot the driver first, and then the co driver, and go back , shoot at the rear doors get the money and escape
I saw your video most of the times of the armored truck shows up are based on the time on the clock somewhere around 1 PM to around 2 PM or 2:30 PM in Just depends. I know some appear on maps all over the place but often I find I'm driving on the street where you show them in the center of the city. I want the actual route they travel. Can you give me a map showing where the travel route is? Because, I'm pretty sure they travel from 1 area all the way around the city maybe we can pick up extra ones if someone follows one from one destination early in the morning until late in the day. If anyone has any information just give me a text message.

I had a souped up Sultan and decided to rob one in Paleto bay and have a getaway like it was Baby Driver (GOod opening scene, never seen the whole movie)
Oh cool, I had no idea shooting right in the middle will eventually get the doors to open. I always preferred to tail a security truck, throw a sticky bomb at the center of the door, and wait for the truck to get stuck in traffic before detonating. (That way the scrapyard makes some extra money.)
It's not a lot of money! Jus 5k. I lose that much money by being chased & killed by the cops, from chasing & shooting that god danm truck. I ignore it altogether every time it shows up
take a cab. you can take a cab anywhere. Just dial it on your phone then pick the location. Press A to skip the ride. You'll be there in under 2 minutes.
look just have a sticky bomb or 2 ready . sneak up on 1 guard and just gun but him if you're fast enough you can gun butt the other. plant the sticky bomb on the back doors ignite it grab the loot and get out of there. don't worry about finding them the blue blip shows up on the map at certain times. you can even follow them in a car and throw a sticky bomb on the door and get out of there. also theres always an armored car near the stores in little korea in between 5 and 7 am. its way simpler than people make it to be.

actually it does, ive hit about 20 armored cars and plus it tells you when youre online that you can make money hitting armored trucks...i either bounce from doing the boneyard survival missions, or hitting armored trucks
Save ur ammo found out if u stick a sticky bomb on th doors (not th van it self just the doors when loaded) it just blows th doors off n u can retrive th cash that way

Even if you got 5 stars robbing the truck, you could easily go into one of the train tunnels or drainage ditch tunnels (they don't follow you), and everybody would do that to get easy money. Then the only thing people would be doing is robbing armored trucks over and over again, no reason to do missions.
Im having a hard time freaking following the marks it's been days I did not even found a single truck with all these dam locations can someone make a video to all location while showing where you go so other ppl know can that possibly happen
if the truck is driving the eaisiet way to get the money is to drive up behind it and throw a sticky bomb on the back door, then blow it when u get back enough, u dont even have to kill the guards if ur quick enough grabbing the money.
You don't have to get the money right away, if there's cars behind you picking it up isn't easy lol. It will appear as a green dot on the map once you blow the doors open. You can elude the cops and return to pick it up.
It didn’t show up for me and I just spent 15 minutes of my real life driving there, now I’m pissed. I literally just need money to continue the story cuz I need a suit for Lester’s mission and I’m way to broke for all the suits available...
I go up to the armored car from the street or wherever I blow it up from the front or the side with a grenade launcher and the money drops right out and you walk over and pick it up the money don't go everywhere never from the back it could blow up all the money in the truck and then get the hell out of there as fast as possible😊
Invest in "Goldcoast" stock on the LCN page before finishing the game-story or every time you got some money before finish the story then invest them in Goldcoast. It will go from 30$ to 400$ but be aware that this trick do not work every time it's a 80% change,
You can kill the 2 and take the truck to michaels garage. Where you can blow it up. Then pickup the money and exit your house about 20m or so. Go back to the garage and repeat.

My tip on robbing the trucks: Use an RPG to blow them up. The money isn't destroyed. I've made tons off of it and I feel that its much easier. :3

It is better to have a fast car or a fast sports bike / motorcycle... and get the F*#% out of there!

Plant a sticky and wait for a good moment with a motor bike. After that just blow it and with the bike you can get the briefcase very fast.

I found a gold truck and got a key and marked a location of a bank and I went there and got in a vault and got unlimited money glitch

After grabbing the briefcase hop in the truck start driving and switch to another character then back. Blow up the truck for more 💰
