Big Brain ez
Red flush = blushing
Gotchuuuu
Red flush is just another way of saying blushing like after working out or from being sick you are flushed
Ohh like you work out then go down the toilet?????
champagne problems is not autobiographical. It’s a song that her and Joe wrote together (William Bowery is a pseudonym). Also, no body, no crime is a story of Taylor murdering her friend’s husband because he murdered her, but because she’s so good at hiding bodies and cleaning up the scene, no one catches her! ‘tis the damn season and dorothea are connected. In dorothea, the guy ‘tis the damn season is about is singing to Dorothea. Nothing about Selena Gomez or Gigi Hadid’s baby lol
Ooooh gotchuu, I really appreciate you clarifying it up for me!
The "red flush" in Gold Rush *is* blushing. Someone's face being flushed means that it's turning red. aka blushing. Really enjoyed this reaction!
Gotchu and I’m glad you enjoyed!
Coney Island's bridge was interesting cause she actually kinda mentioned her famous exes. Like:
"Were you waiting at our old spot, in the tree line by the gold clock. Did I leave you hanging every single day?" Referred to John at Amas 2009/2010.
"Were you standing in the hallway with a big cake, happy birthday. Did I paint your bluest skies the darkest grey? A universe way" referred to jake at her 21 birthday.
"And when I got into the accident, the sight that flashed before me was your face" referred to Harry and their incident.
"When i walked up to the podium, I think that I forgot to say your name" referred to Calvin during her 2nd winning AOTY time.
"Champagne Problems" is another way of saying first-world problems. Kind of in the same vein, but it creates a double entendre with the fact that the sister brought champagne and they couldn't celebrate with it.
Finally 😭❤️
Lmaoo sorry for the delay
My favourite album ❤️ thanks for reacting to this!
You’re welcome!
wooooaaahhh you've blessed us with four & evermore reaction!!! bless you bro!
Thank you thank you 😂 I hope you enjoyed tho fosho
YESSS
My favorite album of hers ever. Everyone always talks about how 1989 is their favorite but honestly I think it is her weakest album lyrically and sounded repetitive. I don’t understand why it is so much more popular than Evermore is. Maybe because 1989 was pop.
x2
1989 is pop, so of course it is repetitive. But its lyrics are actually very good. I think the album is catchy, and I rank it a little bit higher than Evermore
1989 was her peak era and had amazing music videos/singles. That's why.
@@frankieflow13 I don’t understand why that was her peak when RED imo was so much better and mainstream as well. Idk I always cringe at the 1989 era with the squad and models on the tour runway at every show. Red was lyrically stronger, while 1989 although had bops were not lyrically strong.
@@jadeheart5862 RED had backlash in a music community. The country radio started to decline her music. There was a big debate that RED supposed to be Pop and not Country. So yeah RED was too ahead of its time. Anyway for me folklore is her best record ever.
gold rush is about joe , champagne problems is written with joe
*Reputation, Speak Now, and Evermore*
*My Holy Trinity 💖💖💖*
Thank you always react to Taylor, please react to the Red Taylor's' Version Album
Foshoo and I’ll try for it, that albums long though right?
@@KoalaKam Yes enough because there are new songs to add in + new versions of the old ones, suddenly that would be very interesting
@@KoalaKam There are 30 music in it
This is great!!!! I clicked so fast!
Coney Island is the most complex song on the album, thread and yet thread discussing this one. Coney Island is a metaphor. It’s about someone wondering why relationships end and realizing that one or both parties take the other for granted. The deeper meaning is that she has incorporated lyrics from previous songs and references events, so that she sings parts where she acknowledges that she had taken her partner for granted. The Matt is singing that alternate part acknowledging times that her exes took her for granted. It’s like an acknowledgement that she has been guilty of it and the target of it too, and it’s an apology really. It’s a phenomenal song. But, you have to know her catalog to get the references to her exes and even to her current Boyfriend Joe. She wrote it with Joe,
Love when you react to Taylor!! ❤️
I’m glad you’re enjoying the content!
Thaanks❤️
Thanks bro..
That Album is Masterpiece.
Taylor is a genius👑💜
Big genius
What up Kam! Don't know if you know this but she's got lyric vids for the album. Same goes for the re-recorded versions she released like Fearless T.V. and Red T.V. Taylor has even added old pix of herself or with her fans on some of her lyrical vids. That way you can look at what she's put together for the fans. Anyways, thanks for the upload my friend. And in case I miss a reaction, Merry Xmas! 🎅 🎄 🎁
Ohh alright thanks for letting me know! And you’re welcome, you have a Merry Christmas as well! 🎄
English Teacher KP has a terrific channel where she breaks down Taylor’s lyrics (and other artists / songs) as only a passionate English teacher can. If everyone had an English teacher like her, the world would be a better place.
omg yes yes yes
Champagne Problems = first world problems. Her rejecting the engagement.
Gold rush = a red flesh is when people turn red from embarrassment. She’s goes into a flush around this person.
The part in Coney Island about "forgetting to say your name" is said to be about her ex Calvin Harris who didn't mention her when winning an award for the song "This Is what you came for" (which she co-wrote using a pseudonym)
Dang see I would’ve never caught that, I don’t even know who all her exes are 😂
If you notice, she is the one singing that part, not Matt. She failed to acknowledge Calvin when she won AOTY. While he did the same to her, it wasn’t for this is what you came for. They had already broken up by then. But, because she is singing this part it is her apology not Calvin’s. IMO. She is singing about what she did wrong when she didn’t thank him when she won AOTY Grammy and he was her boyfriend at the time. matt is singing the part for her ex boyfriends that never apologized to her for taking her for granted. She is apologizing for taking her exes for granted.
@@KoalaKam she is singing the parts where she is realizing how she has taken some for granted and the male singer, Matt, is singing to Taylor about her exes that have taken her for granted.
@@KoalaKam Actually, it's from Taylor's perspective. She had won Album of the Year at the Grammys for 1989 and she didn't mention Calvin hence "I forgot to say your name"
In that bridge she actually kinda mention all her exes. Like:
"Were you waiting at our old spot, in the tree line by the gold clock. Did I leave you hanging every single day?" Referred to John at Amas.
"Were you standing in the hallway with a big cake, happy birthday. Did I paint your bluest skies the darkest grey? A universe way" referred to her 21 birthday with Jake.
"And when I got into the accident, the sight that flashed before me was your face" referred to her and Harry's car accident.
"When i walked up to the podium, I think that I forgot to say your name" referred to Calvin during her 2nd AOTY time.
a lot of the songs here are about fictional character not necessarily about her and her relationship also gold rush isn't about harry the media just loves making up stuff for clickbait
Ohh gotchu gotchu

No Body No Crime - Este finds out her husbands cheating, and calls him out on it. Este goes missing (husband kills her) and moves his mistress into Este’s house. Taylor’s character knows that the husband kills Este, so she plots out her revenge and murders him…and frames the mistress by taking out a life insurance policy on him.
Sheeeesh!
