Just bought one of these myself. Can't wait for it to arrive. One small point, is that the cut out in the blade isn't for weight reduction, it's a thumb hole for one handed opening, spyderco do the same thing on their folders, although their thumb holes are mostly round. Glad to see you went through a variety of tasks with it. A lot of people you see doing reviews on knives only focus on the specific task they bought it for.
Ive owned one of these for about 2 years now. its my everday work knike. cutting cables, opening boxes. the tip off the knife works even when somewhat dulled because of its shape. its basically a box cutter on steriods
Actually it does have a bottle opener. Back side of the blade and your finger. Like how you use a seat belt to open a beer. Same concept but with a knife.......
Yes, this is the modern packaging and I hate it. Sometimes a pair of scissors and cut around it, that is ought to do the trick. That blade is pretty sharp! Neat little knife. A Good Knife Ralph. have a great weekend.
