You don't get named "the voice" for nothing. Vern Gosdin's voice stopped me dead in my tracks when I first heard him sing in the early 1980's. Vern could melt the coldest of hearts. He was truly born to sing country ballads. Thank you for this amazing duet!

I’m a 56 year old now and when I was 18 I rocked Vern .. my mother and father loved his music as well.. nothing like 38 Special ,Vern, Ted Nugent and few cold ones .. I meet him one night at Little Nashville Opry in Nashville,In he was wonderful to just talk to .

Several times I've asked the folks at Prime Country on Sirius/XM to add Vern to their playlist but my request fell on deaf ears or the people in the radio business simply don't give a damn. R.I.P. Airgunner 66 , Vern Gosdin is right there with Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, George Jones and Johnny Cash he is probably 4 or 5 on my all time favorite singers behind only Merle ,Waylon,Jones, Hank Jr, then Vern Gosdin.
