- Last year I wrote a book called Happy Mum, Happy Baby. I was overwhelmed by the amount of emails and messages I received in response. I didn't want the conversation to end there, so I decided to start a podcast where I invited others to share their experiences. It was a huge success, so for series two I wanted to progress things and film it too. So every Tuesday at 5pm I'll be uploading the video footage from the podcast here... I guess that makes it a vidcast, but let's not get too technical.
The series will be a collection of frank and warm conversations with high-profile mums and dads. We'll be discussing all aspects of parenthood - the highs, the lows, the challenges and rewards. There is no such thing as the perfect parent. Instead, we’re all simply doing our best. It’s time to stop comparing ourselves and champion each other instead. Each episode will be truly unique yet unifying. No topic is out of bounds, and I hope the podcast and supporting video will be essential viewing for any parent seeking solidarity and support.

Hi Gi, please can you talk about the time before getting pregnant and having the baby with your guests - the whole trying to conceive, fertility issues, pregnancy itself and of course miscarriage experiences - I think a wide variety of voices on this side of things is really important and I want to hear it - thanks XX
Lizzie Dean Makes Have you watched the one from a few weeks ago, talking to 2 ladies (can't remember their names), they had babies Orla and Teddy? Really great to listen to. There was also a podcast with Izzy Judd talking about fertility issues at the end of the last series of podcasts.
This was my favourite one ever!!! I really cant wait to have a baby and i thought listening to these would panic me and make me think i am not ready. But it has done the complete opposite! Listening to these i have realized no one is ready. However i am ready to give it my best go!!! thank you for doing these they are so helpful to me, and i hope to listen to them again when i am a mum, and listen in a completely new way! my a bit more empathetic way!

Got to a point where I’m rewatching or listening to women that came on when my preschooler was a new babe and it’s lovely to relive it now as a mum with 3 years experience, and laugh I’ve got different things from these conversations this time around as a 2nd time mum, in a new situation as I’ve gone back to work one time round and I’ve missed special moments first time round, this time round my kitchen takes a hammering, my son over turns anything with wheelies so he can play with them whether his big sister was on that scooter or not😂 keep happy mum going!
