Although I like ErHa, I totally get it. I know A Thousand Autumns is a favorite for many people and will come into rotation at some point. I have never clicked with it. I will see if I like it any better when Brittany reads it than when read it myself.

So Guardian was the second ever danmei novel I read, after MDZS. I read it after watching the show. I have to say it's not one of my favorites. Part of that may have been the assortment of translations I was reading. But though the beginning and characters are strong, it's still not my favorite Priest novel. (Which is definitely Mo Du. God that's good.) Still will enjoy giving it a second go through you and seeing this translation.

So far I've found that Priest series adaptations are a 'greater than the sum of their parts' situation, in that I may have some issues with execution elements or nuts-and-bolts aspects but it all somehow comes together with its own charm and characters/romances I love dearly. Verrrry curious to see how the source material does things.
I *screamed* when I saw the announcement for Mo Du's official translation. I typically try to give people some lead time to get their copies and read on their own if they want to before I stream it, bu Mo Du is happening the second those volumes drop in my hands. Those eight episodes really did something to me.
