Definitely an interesting question. I think Kyle is better off at JGR. Look at how HMS has degressed over the past few years. Granted it would be under different circumstances.

If Jr did go to Gibbs we would have to assume that they would stay with Chevy as Jr stated that he would only drive for a Chevrolet team. So if Jr goes to Gibbs the success of Toyota is also in question and would Gibbs have the strangle hold on the series like they do today.
Jr would have nothing to do with that decision. He would have been in Toyota's.

This had been a promising series but you never really look into what could have been, instead just assuming one change in driver means all the same results would have happened, like it was the car not the driver who took the cars to victories. There would be no guarantee Busch would have won a Daytona 500, his skill sets were different than Jr's. just because busch was at hendrick doesnt guarantee a victory in the 500. You just ask the question and pile on other questions instead of look into what could have been.
