I have Vespa SXL 150 matt red colour 2016 BS3 model, I love it, gives me 40kmph in city, great handling, great pick up, so refined, refinement, sturdy body, paint quality is so good even after more then 3 years. Prices are always high for Vespa but you cannot get Mercedes in the price of Maruti 😀 I love my Vespa whenever I take it out for a ride, it’s a one time investment for me that I know will be with me for years to come even my kids will ride it when they grow up, it’s reliability is so better and good from the all other Japanese scooters. I am 40 years old but I feel like a 20 year old boy whenever I ride it, it brings a huge smile on my face😀

It's for u. Best thing is whatever u do with u r Vespa a 1000 km trip or out to colg in dirt roads.... If u give it a gud foam wash its looks like u just bought it yesterday.🤩 And always be ready to face the weird troubles comes with those tyres and few mechanical issues.

As an auto reviewer, you should've known better that ABS is not an initiative by Piaggio, but rather complying to the updated laws that mandate 2-wheelers above 125cc to have ABS. Which is why the 125cc scooters don't have ABS (SR125, Storm, Vespa 125 variants). This is also the reason why 135cc bikes have vanished. Ones like Achiever 135, Pulsar LS135, etc.

My question is that the scooters have much smaller fuel tank than bikes. Hence how much fuel should always be maintained in the fuel tank for optimum efficiency and longevity of the fuel pump in the Fi system ???
Build quality is good. But it deserves 12 inch wheels in both end, telescopic suspension in the front and the instrument panel should show more parameters of the vehicle like Honda Activa 125 at this price point.

I bought one in 20/3/2021 and this matt black sxl 150 model got a front mud guard made out of "plastic" (japanese/ indian scooters are giving mud guard in metal ) I don't know why ? .The next thing is the switch made out of cheap quality plastic while japanese scooters are giving you good quality plastic switch ,I don't know why vespa became miserly in these things.🤔🤔

Spares are available only in Vespa sales and service centres and this is a drawback.But if you live in a city it won't be a problem at all. The old sxl(VXL or Elegante) produces 11.4 bhp power and 11.6 NM torque whereas the present Vespa 150cc models have a power of 10. 2 bhp and a torque of 10.6Nm. So think before buying a vespa. The on-road price is too high and can go up to Rs 1, 47,000 or 1,50,000. There are a many other scooters which gives a good performance like Suzuki Burgman (on-road price is around Rs. 1,00000), TVS Ntorq (on-road price around Rs.88,000 -90,000) ,suzuki access and Honda Grazia.
Should have had a fully digital speedometer with blue tooth connectivity the price doesn't do justice to all these features which of sort have become outdated
