    I use bassdrum volume automation during fast passages.

      Hi toni, at first thanks for watching ! 🙌
      Of course that is the easiest way, I use this method too.
      But most of the time, during fast Kick sections, like the one in the video, I don't want my Kick Drum be lower on volume because the fast part is exciting and I want that it cuts through.
      I'm talking more about the low end build up during these fast passages, it starts to get boomy und too subheavy and clashes with your bass guitar and that is the thing that I mentioned in the video.
      Of course, the good old trick with Multibandcompression works too but I like doing the low shelf automation, at least on longer parts like the one in the video.
