    Furthermore, if Nigerian government subsidise the sell of crude to Dangote to refine product to resell back to Nigerian at a low affordable price does not mean Nigerian government is loosing forex or loosing opec quota for crude export, because first of all Government is selling to Dangote in Naira and the sell of crude to Dangote for domestic uses is not considered export of crude so it should not affect opec quota of crude for Nigeria, beside Nigeria have not reach opec export quota yet!

    The reason NNPC import at N840 per liter as stated by your guest is cheaper than Dangote is because it is of very bad quality petroleum and Dangote petrol product is of high quality. Please note the bad quality petrol from NNPC is not up to standard thus in order to solve the problem of affordable pricing for Nigerian people, the government should sell crude oil at a subsidise price to Dangote only for Dangote refinery to refine into different petroleum product like, diesel, petrol and jet fuel …etc and then sell at a low price for Nigerians, but the petroleum products that Dangote export, the government will not subsidise the price of crude so government will need to set up a small team to monitor subsidies crude to different petroleum products for domestic supply and export supply. In short government subsidise the sell of crude to Dangote for Nigerian needs and not subsidise crude for export. Win win for all! Tinubu should care for the needs of ordinary Nigerians, after all, aren’t the crude oil and any other natural resources in Nigeria are meant for Nigerians to enjoy and not just for the powerful Nigerians? Good governance will benefit the people first! God bless Nigeria!🙏🙏👏✌️❤️❤

      Lover your write up, help me answer this
      Why do we need to import crude oil?
      How much crude oil does Dangote need?
      Is Dangote going to export crude oil?

    • @josephmozay4550
      @josephmozay4550 4 месяца назад

      We’re not importing crude, cause it’s in Nigeria and dangote is going to start processing it with his refinery.
      Idk how much he needs but since that’s the only refinery working in the country I think it’s best to keep on supplying to him
      Yes Dangote would have to export to build his business, he would export to different countries and hopefully they’re going to be buying in naira which would also strengthen the naira

    What loss is this government going to sustain when the people are enjoying their oil - the only benefit ordinary Nigerian gain in this country when the price is right. Tell me one oil producing country in the world that sells oil higher than Nigeria? not even Russia when you balance it with the minimum wage of Russia. What you see with the Dangote/NNPC/Fed government saga is the summary of what has been going on in the country since 1960 The welfare of the state and the masses are exchanged for personal interest, thievery, occultism, violence. ruthlessness, madness, ogbanjeism, mamiwaterism, and total destruction and betrayal of the common good. How much longer can we go like this?

    God bless Dangote. You have done your part. Government must not sell this fuel more than N400 a litre. For now, this should be the only thing Nigerians should be enjoying from this government. Remember that low fuel price will bring down the prices of goods in this country and as a result make life more bearable and meaningful for the people.

    Oil related products all of which can be produced by a single refinery accounts for 33% of our forex spend. Ordinarily this should relieve pressures on our forex reserves. I was shocked about how you kept dancing around manufactured goods and ignored this. Manufactured goods you're looking at will compose of hundreds if not thousands of varying products. The problem is because crude oil is bought in naira, the expense profile of the oil extraction companies will determine if this will have a positive impact on the foreign reserves. If their operations and repatration of profits is highly exposed to USD, they will simply use the Naira Dangote pays for crude oil to increase demand for forex from the other end depressing the reserves.

    Why is NNPC selling at that price?

  • @TeeO8080
    @TeeO8080 4 месяца назад

    NNPCL is not bringing any petro at N840/liter!
    Where are you getting that figure from?
    There are 132 refineries in the US (even 3 Dangote refineries won't reduce the price); this has not led to a reduction in per liter price for the consumers.
    If we are getting petro per liter at an amount less than $0.70; it is being subsidized!

    My Advice is simple....
    1.NNPC should keep on importing or even subsidise it for the mean time.
    2. Dangote should Only Export his products since he claims is Expensive.
    CBN ::: will now make enough money from FX Exchange from Dangote sales, which will drop dollar rate drastically.
    Very simple.

    This is a blatant lie from the analysis.If the price of crude oil can come down due to market force, why not that of premium oil.
    Present crude oil price (max.) = 78.62 USD per barrel
    Crude oil price per litre = 809.73 NGN @1637.59
    Same oil that will extract other by-products like
    gas, premium oil diesel, kerosene, jet fuel, fertiliser, wax, asphalt etc.
    Then, how much is the final product (petrol) out of the several by-products.
    This is the question that need sincere answer from the analysis.
